Having just READ AARON WILSONS analysis of the MATTISON Defense.... not as many exotic Blitz Packages. I'm excited at the POSSIBILITIES, of once again.. having a DE/LB with the 327 cu in MOTOR of former Raven Great.. Michael MC CREARY...

Hi Harry and welcome to the board.

I'm excited about Paul Kruger too. Also, glad that Mattison seems more reluctant to risk giving up the big play than Rex was.

Kruger seems small, not as big as AD, so i have to see him to believe it.

I like Mattison's thinking already. Teams were able to throw under and move the ball on Rex's D. Ben was a master at it. Ben beating Rex's blitzes reminded me of Nameth beating the Colts blitzes in SB 3.

Thats what killed us.

I heard DeCosta say that Kruger is "big boned" that he has the frame to add weight to if needed.

I only saw a little bit of film on Kruger but I liked what I saw. I think he'll be way better than Edwards.

On Super Bowl 3: It's too bad Shula waited so long to put Unitas in. Even with his arm shot, he coulda won it for us on sheer smarts and guts. Oh well, ancient history..
