Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
Thank you Ray Ray. Great read, great tackle and this game is over.
2-0, first place in the division. Our D bent like a pretzle but didn't break. We need a physical corner very soon. This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

No, Thank you Ray...

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
Ray read it like the fucking legend that he is and blew the lightning bug up. Norv blows it, we escape. 2-0, TOPS of the AFC North.
Now we begin praying that Mattison and he secondary get it together before we totally shit the bed.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
That was amazing, just the way Ray ran through there untouched. Ridiculous.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
We should have lost. This D needs to get their act together. Paging CMac.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
Lord, our secondary was OWNED today. That's what you get when your WRs are all a foot taller than you corners. Our corners won't be that easy for other teams. Hopefully Washington is coming back. Hopefully, Frank Walker won't be in there...
Although Frank Walker did save this game for us.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
That play is why they are going to pave Ray's way to Canton with god damned GOLD!
Next week I make the trip across the pond to watch the 2-0 Baltimore Ravens, it doesn't get better than that!

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
i think we need to keep it in mind that this dan diego team gives us the worst matchups possible. huge WR's and a small quick RB is as bad as it gets for us. still looked abysmal.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
Our pass D is ugly bad.
But pulled the game out. Holy hell. What a play by Ray.
And no one ever speak ill of Frank Walker ever again.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
Frank Walker might not be a bad idea at starter...as long as he keeps the penalties down, he was GREAT against the physical receivers.
someone just needs to teach Foxworth and Washington to swat the ball while covering. Don't just let them take the huge play and tackle!

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Chargers
Cue Nelly's "Hot In Here" theme song... Ray Lewis does it again. That has to be the play of the game.
And I definitely agree- our CB's are CRAP. No way should a-hole Rivers have a career game in passing yards. Washington looked lost the entire game, and Foxworth got twisted around all day. While I'm not sure if McAlister is the answer to bring him back, we definitely need a physical corner. Or at least Mattison better be all over his corner's this week in practice.
