Maybe te loss is not so bd
All of us are frustraded as hell right now, but this article seemed to calm me down (some)
These birds can play
Please, please, please don’t look at the result of the Ravens’ game in New England and conclude, “Well, they came back to Earth a little bit.” Baltimore may have been more impressive in losing 27-21 than it was in running its record to 3-0 over the previous three weeks.
“That’s tough sleddin’,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said after his Patriots survived, 27-21 at home. “That team’s gonna win it’s share of games, I’ll tell ya.”
Quarterback Joe Flacco — as good as he’s been — still needed to prove he’d gone from a mere steward of the Baltimore offense to its triggerman. Done.
Even with the Ravens seemingly jobbed on a number of ticky-tack calls, they still were an egregious Mark Clayton, fourth-down drop away from having four cracks at the end zone from inside the Patriots’ 10-yard line in the last minute.
Flacco put them in that position with a terrific game-closing drive that combined his best assets: toughness, velocity and accuracy and poise. I don’t know who’s going to have the better career, Flacco or the Falcons’ Matt Ryan, but I think we’ll all enjoy finding out.
