    GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals

Welcome back. Last week was disheartening, but today is a battle for first place. Lets get it!

Bengals' inactives: J. Palmer, Nelson, Jeanty, Smith, Kooistra, Coffman, Simpson, Tank Johnson

Ravens' inactives: Beck, Parmale, Burgess, Cousins, Gaither, Curtis, Talavou, Kruger

So no Gaither as expected, and no Kruger. No surprises in the inactives. See you in 30 if you're not at the purple palace!

Time to channel last week's frustration into a beatdown.

    Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals

My family picked today for a 90th birthday party for my grandmother at her nursing home, so I'll be relegated to just occasionally checking in via cell phone.

    Ravens, let's do this thing!
    .
    .
FOR REED, BIRK, BOLDIN, RAY, ART, TEVIN, OJ, and BALTIMORE...
    SUPER BOWL 47 CHAMPION RAVENS!!!!!!

"We don't make it easy, but that's the way the city of Baltimore is, and that's the way we are. We did this for them back home." - Joe Flacco, Super Bowl 47 MVP

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Lets bounce back from last week. Its a bad day to be a Bengal. Ray Ray and company are pissed!

    Gus Johnson today.

    Ravens kicking off.

Caldwell to the 36. Piss poor coverage.

Kruger was active last week, but he's a situational guy right now...he's not good in pass coverage, right now he'll only be a pass rushing specialist. We need other guys active.

Coverage was awful on that kick, one guy got stiff armed.

    Not good.

C'mon Ray Ray, show Benson he's running nowhere.

1st, Palmer gets no pressure, pass dropped by Coles at the sticks.
2nd and 10, give to Benson, no hole, no gain. Maybe even loses a half yard.
3rd and 10, flags fly as the blitzing Nakamura points to the clock and its delay.
3rd and 15, Palmer steps up, NO PRESSURE on the blitz, complete to Chad at midfield.

Good coverage but a better thrown ball.

    Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals

    Inexcusable on 3rd and 15..

1st, Palmer pressured quickly, pass thrown behind the TE Coats incomplete as Ngata was in almost right away.
2nd and 10, Benson pushes the pile for 6 or 7.
3rd and short 3, over the middle and complete to Chad to the 25. Ugh

    Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals

We aren't fighting for the ball. Tight coverage though.

1st, give to Benson who bounces outside for 2.
2nd and 8, PA, Palmer gets no pressure, Chad gets open again for 9. Foxworth slips.

Have to pressure Carson. Its just pitch and catch with Chad right now.

This defense all year has been disappointing.

Chad Johnson is just abusing our CB's.

I really don't like it when the team comes out looking sluggish.
