I don't get why we seem to get more pressure with a 3 man rush than a blitz. Do we need that many people back there for coverage?

    MISSED!

    YES!

1st, give to Benson NAILED by Ngata who blew up the backfield for a big loss.
2nd and 15, give to Benson for 2.
3rd and 13, Bengals waited too long, delay.
3rd and 18, Palmer steps up, no one open, pocket collapsed quickly, scrambles for 8ish, slides.

Graham from 32 - high snap, got down - NO GOOD!

    0-0 tie!

Flacco and the offense take over at the 23.

1st, PA, Flacco rolls, little toss to Heap for 7.
2nd and 3, Rice for 4 through the middle for a first.

1st, another PA pass, Flacco steps up well, looks downfield, sees no one, runs from Peko for 9.
2nd and 1, give to McClain for 1 and the first.

1st, PA again, dumps to Rice, gets inside Bengal territory for 6.
2nd and 4, Ravens go unbalanced line, complete on the quick pass to Heap for 5.

1st down at the Bengals 44, screen to LeRon for 9. GREAT block by Oher to make that happen.
2nd and 1, Rice turns the corner, gets a 1st down and more, down to the 15!

    Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals

1st, marked at the 14, Joe audibles, give to Rice who gets nothing on the right side. 2 Bengals were there.
2nd and 11, option with Clayton, but Joe shovel passes to Rice who drops it.
3rd and 11, empty backfield, false start on Birk. Birk's nose is bloody.
3rd and 16, then the Ravens inexpicably take forever and take a TO.

Wasn't that crazy about the option play, but if it goes complete that's a good five or six yards.

    Timeout crazy though.

    Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals

3rd and long, gonna be tough to convert this, gets some mild pressure, steps up and tried for Heap but it is picked by Joseph who returns to the 19.

Just a bad, bad mistake by Joe - Heap was double covered and Joseph was sitting in the zone. Just cover up and take the 3..
