Just going to throw it out there......
On Monday Night Countdown Adam Schefter **speculated** that the Bills could very well be looking to move Terrell Owens before the trade deadline Wednesday.
He said the compensation likely would be a mid rounder (3rd, 4th), and the Bills would be pretty motivated to do something rather then have him walk for nothing at the end of the year. They also would save $4 million and in these economic times with Buffalo being a smaller market it would help them out a lot.
I can't say the idea does not intrigue me, but I don't know if he would "fit" into what we are doing off the field. He could surely fit on the field, but who knows if after the last time we tried to acquire him if Ozzie wants to go down that road.
One thing, Owens was right to not want to come here with Boller at QB. Hindsight is 20/20 but it looks like that would have been a disaster for him. And despite enduring a horrible season so far he has not popped off once that I have heard.
It would be a low risk, high reward type deal and he would be playing on a contender basically trying to prove his worth for a contract next year. That is pretty good motivation right there.
All that said, it wont happen. These "scenarios" never do but I thought I would throw it out there.
And finally one reason I probably would not be opposed ........
THEN EVERYONE COULD SHUT UP ABOUT THE DAMN
WR"S!!!!!!!!!

I hate myself for even being tempted, but yeah, I'd be tempted.

Nope. I didn't like T.O. when we actually had him for a couple of days and my opinion hasn't improved over time. I've never actually booed a Raven's player but I would the instant he put on a uniform.
This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

One would think that if Ozzie tried to get him before, he would try again.
One would also think that Harbaugh would probably be opposed, for obvious reasons given the "theme" since he got hired. He also had a front row seat for the Philly debacle.

No thanks. I'd just as soon not have a-holes on the team, or at least, as few as possible.

Re: Just going to throw it out there......
Yeah, I'm not THAT tempted. So far I'm not sure what is holding T.O. back from opening up his can of verbal whoop-ass at Trent Edwards. Maybe it's the 6 mil he's getting this year.
I just don't want that kind of cancer in the locker room. He's too old at this point to be "correctable" in his behavior.
I'd rather have David Tyree than T.O. Honestly. And since I'd rather have neither.............................

Re: Just going to throw it out there......
Good teams have learned how to take Mason out of the game. Clayton is inconsistent. Seriously Ray Rice might be our best receiver as far as being in position to catch balls. If the Ravens want to be a force this year, they might have to take a chance somewhere. Not sure if T.O. is the place to roll the dice but there won't be much competition for balls so maybe T.O. would be ok here. Its a risk but Rex risked it with Braylon and Braylon just scored 6.

Good teams do Take Mason out of the game and the other WRs need to step up mainly Clayton and Heap. If they want to Double Team Mason one of them should be open.
I would not mind seeing T.O. here as long as we get him the ball. I dont know if Harbs/Ozzie would want the package that comes with him.

stuff. To TO, or not TO. As I said, I hate myself, but I'd be tempted. But someone else pointed out that Harbs was in Philly for the meltdown there, so I don't see it happening.
