My favorite (2) sport shows are Rob Long and Sports with Coleman. Agree with the rest of the above comments.

I agree. Zinno is a poor excuse for a talk show host unless you want someone who is abrasive and sometimes goes to absurd lengths to make a point.

I dunno. Maybe that kinda guy attracts listeners?

Preston is actually OK on the radio. At least he is entertaining. He sucks in print though.

I still say Bruce Laird and Tom Matte are the best. They should have their own show. Not saying it because they are ex-Colts: they really know what they are talking about and don't take themselves too seriously.

Thumbs up for Rob Long too.

FYI...I do a show with Bruce from the Greene Turtle in Ocean City that we stream HERE each Thursday from 7-8:30. We were on last night instead of Thursday this week due to Thanksgiving.

I also join Rob every Monday from 10-noon.

And even if I didn't partner with them, I share your opinion DL...

edit: Zinno still sucks. On the rare occasions I listen to him, I recall thinking (a) this guy adds nothing, and (b) no adult in or near the State of Maryland should be pronouncing these words any differently from the way they look: "Johns Hopkins."

I remember listening after the scary shooting incident at the hospital a year or two ago and I thought, this is serious, and you sound like a retard.

Plus he adds nothing about sports.

Regardless of how you spell it, that guy is an egotistical, name dropping, self absorbed blowhard. I don't care about his mother or about whatever dumb nickname he's come up with for some thing/person, or whether that thing/person likes it. And I sure as hell don't care that he ever had a "national" show, whatever that means. Your resume doesn't matter if you're hired and you suck.

And to those who would say, "then don't listen," well, I gave him a shot, I listened more than I should have, but then I learned my lesson and now I don't.
