Re: GAME THREAD - Wild Card edition - Ravens/Pats
I thought we played San Diego next week. Jets at the Colts, Ravens at Chargers.
And yeah we only threw when we had to, which wasn't all that often. This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

Re: GAME THREAD - Wild Card edition - Ravens/Pats
I don't post much, but read all the time. I was very skeptical of a win today, as it has been a "tough" season against good teams. I am happier than a pig in shit right now, as I was mentally prepared for a loss. I agree, get the important starters out, but WE WON! Shut the hell up. Some of you people can kill a great game winning high!!

How about the play of Dwan Edwards today? 6 tackles, 1 sack and one other that should have been. Great time to step up!

Re: GAME THREAD - Wild Card edition - Ravens/Pats
Was it just me or did Flacco look pissed off by the way Brady shook hands with him?

So many good things to talk about, both from players and (minus the blown challenge) the coaching staff. Let's savor this for a while!

Re: GAME THREAD - Wild Card edition - Ravens/Pats
did Harbaugh pull a Belichik? I didn't see him shake Bill's hand...
I know he shook hands with some players and did a partial victory lap around the stadium..

Re: GAME THREAD - Wild Card edition - Ravens/Pats
for some reason, I have a TON of confidence against the Colts. I think the end of their season really f-ed up their momentum and the way we played today showed we are focused, disciplened and ready for hard competition.

Re: GAME THREAD - Wild Card edition - Ravens/Pats
Noticeable presence of Ravens fans this weekend:
"It felt like we were playing an away game, that’s what it felt like," said sixth-year Patriot Vince Wilfork. "Even if we’d moved on from here, we probably would’ve played two away games, back-to-back. I’m telling you, for all this team’s done in the past … I don’t understand it.
