Re: Game Thread - Playoffs-Round Two
Damn it. We have to settle for the FG but considering that the alternative is a huge play by their defense, I'll take it.
We're tied at 3.This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Very encouraging, minus the almost disastrous Flacco gaffe.

Katula...damn it, stop with the crappy snaps!
At least Cundiff seems to have figured out how to take them out of the equation.
3-3 tie

Re: Game Thread - Playoffs-Round Two
Another stupid penalty on a KO return, another inability to punch it in from the red zone, another terrible snap on a FG. Well, at least we had an 85 yd drive in the middle of those f-ups.

Re: Game Thread - Playoffs-Round Two
Colts moved it ok against our D...looks like they are attacking out corners and daring us to either take the short easy passes or try to play shut down on them
We're throwing well sans the last play, looks like we need to get their 8th man out of the boxon running. On one hand, we're a McClain catch away from a TD, but we're also a Bethea catch away from a BAD INT return, possibly long return for TD.
We just made a NICE stop on return, around the 15.

Re: Game Thread - Playoffs-Round Two
Colts drove down to our red-zone but came up three yards short.
Refs hosed us on a block in the back call to put us at the seven after the kick-off, negating a 54 yard return.
We marched it down to their six or so where Flacco nearly threw a pick six. Thankfully we got a FG out of it.
They have the ball at their 10 after great coverage by our special teams. This is a novel I was asked to proofread. Damn Katula..... is the guy lying about his health to keep his job? He's gonna frickin kill us if Koch does n't real in that mess for him.
Nice drive though. I guess all those morons who think we always throw for 34 yards every game are scracthing their heads.

I like this patience approach...Manning is making small mistakes here and there. Just play him safe and force THEM to keep getting FGs.

Re: Game Thread - Playoffs-Round Two
Colts get the ball out to the 50 but come up five yards short and have to punt.
Sting, we had two really close INTs on this drive so our secondary is playing pretty well. Carr in particular had a solid play on a route by one of the Colt's receivers. This is a novel I was asked to proofread.
