    WOW, What a great game!!!!!
Looks like our team is tuned up just fine!!!!
ummm, Tony, you've got a great website, but Ha Ha!
I'm glad you were wrong on your prediction. Best put those purple shades back on. :-)
I watched it at a sports bar here in FL with quite a few Bucs fans, who were eerily silent the whole way.

Although they liked Ngata's rumble towards the endzone.

Can't wait for next weekend, when I come up to see the Ravens beat up on the Raiders.

The stadium is going to be rocking next Sunday. I'm ready to start tailgating right now.

Ok I'm back from the game. Who said what about who? Cause if I recall I called it 34-7, well if you just take 7 points from both teams that equals a great big 27-0. Oh and whatever you guys say I was not "loaded" when I posted that first post I was just sick of you 17-13 Bucs losers........yay I win!

I had the Ravens winning at least, eventually overtaking the Bucs late in the game 17-14. I am so glad to be wrong, its been a while since the Ravens took a team behind the woodshed.

The skeptics were justified in their worry. I have to admit that while optimistic, I was worried about this game.

I had NO IDEA that we would punish that team as we did. It is not as if we were playing the Lions, Texans, or Saints. We played the Bucs and the number 1 defense of last year, and made them look like the Saints and Texans.

I hope our guys do not overlook ANY team, including the Raiders. I want us to have the "eye of the tiger" against every team we play this season.

Think about this, you could see that we were still not playing our best ball. McNair overthrew some receivers, and we had missed tackles on defense. The Ravens, if they keep this focus and intensity, could be a dangerous and elite team in the NFL this year.

Considering the pounding we gave the Bucs, I had no intention bringing any of that up. McNair didn't look "sharp" perse, but he got the job done and in a big way. 35 minutes of TOP? I don't care if he only completed 30% of his passes.

Tony, just go into your room and listen to all your old Beatles/Lennon songs...like Yer Blues, or Cold Turkey....Feel your own pain dude.

Just don't pick the wrong team again. Learned your lesson? If not, Go flog yourself with a wet noodle. Better yet, you have to listen to Hank Williams Sr. songs for a week.
we aren't just loyal, we are obsessed. and we are violently so. we are baltimore, and we are the epitome of dysfunctionality.

    Crow,

Since reading your latest post last night, I've been in "Isolation" and listening to the White Album with the CD player queued up to Revolution No. 9.

    How appropriate....

    No. 9, No. 9, No. 9, No. 9, No. 9

I am w/ TL here eating some crow. There really was no reason to expect the Ravens to win at Tampa so I totally see where TL is coming from.

I was very pleasantly surprised...but it's only one game. Unless they beat the Raiders at home this week the road win means nothing. I do expect to see them at 2-0 after the home opener.
