Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
1st from the 37, Simms getting tons of time, complete to Caddy who slips a tackle and gets 8.
2nd and 2, give to Caddy for 4. Saw some really blatant holding there.
1st, at midfield, TO Bucs.

Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
1st, complete to Clayton, gain of around 3. First WR completion in the game for TB.
2nd and 6, pass tipped at the line by the DTs. Actually, Suggs got in there for the tip.
3rd, Simms getting time, pass intended for Clayton is broken up by C-Mac! Great play by Chris. Shutdown corner! Offensive hands to the face penalty is declined.
Ball downed at the 6.

Nothing for Anderson so far. Pass rush hasn't been very good except on blitz. C-Mac playing well.

1st from the 7, offset I, play action, a guy right on McNair, dumped to Green, who breaks a tackle at the LOS, and gets about 3.
Buc down on the field, Spires.

Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
2nd and 8, another PA, pass overthrown for Heap by floats in for Mason, incomplete. Lots of contact there, surprised at no flag!
3rd, PA again, complete to Musa for about 4-5. Punt time again. Great tackle by Kelly.
Stills makes the tackle just inside Ravens territory.

Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
Tampa has totally flipped the field position getting the ball in our territory. I like that the Ravens aren't afraid to throw the ball when backed up, but it's not working right now. The offensive line has to get some props for their play so far.

Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
1st from the Ravens 42, give to Caddy for 4-5.
2nd and 5, Caddy up the middle and smacked by Ray at the first down line, but for some reason they spot the ball for about an extra 2 yards.
1st from the 31, Caddy for 1. T-Sizzle loses his helmet.
2nd and 9, pass tipped at the line, and PICKED OFF BY NGATA!!! RETURNED INSIDE THE 10!!! RUN BIG MAN RUN!!!!

Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
1st and goal, Jamal for no gain, maybe a loss.
Tampa takes a TO.
Ngata should have pushed it into the endzone!

Man, Ngata may be out for the rest of the game after that.
Let's get a TD here to put this baby away.

Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
It all depends on the spot of the ball. If it's closer to the two than the one, I'd probably kick it. Otherwise, I would go for it.

Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
Statistically it makes sense to go for it. You have a huge QB, push it in!

Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
I'm praying he goes for it! This game will be over if we get it! Come on Jamal!

Re: OPENING DAY GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bucs
As much as I'd like to see a TD, just take the 3 points while its there for you. If it was a soft D I might be in favor of going for it.
