Re: Previously unreported Rapistberger Incident?
If I had any Photoshop skills (or free time) at all, I would love to put together a picture of Rapistberger, Jeff Reed, and Santonio on the cover of "The Longest Yard" or "Cops" or something of the sort.

Re: Previously unreported Rapistberger Incident?
Surprisingly, a quick look at the Squealers' message board shows most of their fans have had enough of Big Hen, and now want him gone. As of this writing, there's already a 5-page thread about this story on their board.
Can we get something on Hines Ward now? Please?

Re: Previously unreported Rapistberger Incident?
Yeah, it does seem that a lot of Pittsburgh fans are fed up with his antics ...as they should be. I suspect most are a lot more sympathetic to the Rooney family than they are toward Roethlisberger. At this point, even I'm sympathetic toward them. A little bit, anyway. Pittsburgh may be the divisional enemy, and yeah, some of their fanbase can be annoying. But the Rooneys have done a lot of good over the years for the game of football.
Not that I'm going to look a gift horse in the mouth if this in any way distracts their team from winning.
Let's just all be thankful we don't have these kinds of problems with Joe Flacco.Last edited by trailhiker85; 04-13-2010 at 01:32 PM.

Re: Previously unreported Rapistberger Incident?
I give the steeler fans credit for this. I have been following their board a lot this offseason and they have been very critical of Ben's drama not just this year but every year for the past three now going into the next season. Of course a third ring will surely cure those ills but at least they are not providing cover for him at this moment.
I still put my money on an apology for his behavior and then treatrment in some type of rehab ala all the rest of the stupid celebrity stars of this era.

Re: Previously unreported Rapistberger Incident?
I have a few buddies from college that were Steelers fans and they have always said that they didn't like Worthlessberger. They say that they obviously like it when he wins on the field, but they know he is a douche off the field. This will only strengthen that opinion.

Meh. When this story gets picked up by wide national sources I'll get interested. A Fox blogroll isn't enough to be much more than rumor right now...

Re: Previously unreported Rapistberger Incident?
Nope. Baltimore got votes from Philly and NY owners.
Rooney, like Model, voted for Jacksonville.

The lawyer is now backing off from his radio comments.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ger-incidents/Now, Manion is singing a different tune. It started with an e-mail from Manion's office to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "Mr. Manion did not mean to express or imply that he has any information that Mr. Roethlisberger engaged in any illegal behavior."

Re: Previously unreported Rapistberger Incident?
Prediction One: Big Jen will get a one game suspension.
Prediction Two: The release of the NFL schedule will be delayed until after the announcement of his suspension and we will find out that Shittsburgh will face a non-divisional opponent their first game.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence.
