Thread: The Driftwood

    Re: The Driftwood

Good morning everbody! getting ready to leave for York and other Pa. areas this morning, waiting for the mess to clear up a little bit. Our annual trip to a hunting cabin in upstate Pa may be in danger! Let's get this slop cleaned up before tomorrow afternoon. I need to get out of town for a while. Not sure the Ravens can keep Birk and get someone with fresh legs in there. and Ray is a beast, but really I don't think we can have him playing all but six downs next year. We've got to get young soon. But hey, at least it gives us off season discussion! And next time some yinzer says "six super bowl rings" just say... "six championships you say? I hadn't heard that before..." shuts 'em right up. Have a great day everybody and be careful out there!

    Good Morning All,

Man, there's about 4 inches or so of snow out there, and we're supposed to get more later in the day. Somebody turn off the snow machine!!!....lol. We need to get younger at center, and some defensive positions. The thing about Ray is that he doen't want to come out of the game, so it's hard to get somebody else in there.
Everyone have a great day...see you later.

    GO RAVENS!!!

Afternon everyone. Well it was hell driving to work at 6:30 this morning. Harford County is slow at getting our roads plowed. Unitas, sure hope you get to go on your trip. Sounds like a great time.
Hi Rob and Yad. Snow is supposed to start back up soon and who knows what we'll end up with the 4:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, which is supposedly when it will stop.
As to Ray, I do believe he has slowed down a bit, wouldn't we if we had the carreer he has had. He still has a hell of a lot left in him but I also agree that we need to get some young blood in there. Don't know if anyone can ever replace Ray but I'm sure hopeful.
There's only one Ray Lewis in this World!
Chat with you all later. It's been a busy day.Kat

Afternoon Everyone - Still no snow here, just rain. Fine with me!!

Unitas - Hope you got out ok and have a great trip up there in PA..
Couldn't agree more with the championship, heck we Baltimore NFL fans have celebrated Five ourselves.....

KAT/Rob - Be careful out there in that snow... probably a mess over there!
Yes, we have to get some good young blood in there. I think KAT is right about Ray. There may never be another like him.... I also don't think he would take well to sitting out downs. He would feel he was hurting his team. My guess is he would quit before he takes that kind of roll??

Looks like they found Ed Reed's brother. Ravens Insider had a video with
Ed Reed speaking with the press.... Very sad!

Thoughts and prayers to the Reed family.....

    Morning All,

Yad.....I bet we got at least 6 more inches yesterday afternoon/night, so I think all together we have around 10 inches or more.
It's time for a ski trip. Actually, Linda and I are going on one Feb.11-13 in Scranton, PA. Two nights lodging, a welcome buffet, plus four "all you can eat buffets", and free open bar through the weekend....we can't wait.....WOOHOO!!!
Everyone drive safely if you go out.
PS....Linda says HI to you all.

    GO RAVENS!!!!

Rob - You guys got a good bit of that wet heavy stuff. The vacation sounds like a great idea.....You guys have a great time.

As for my son I called him at 9AM and he did not get home until 3:30AM, and fortunately found a guy with a plough to clear his driveway so he could pull in. I think there are alot of stories like that from that storm yesterday..

    Have a great afternoon all!!

    GO RAYVENS!!

    Re: The Driftwood

Yad, I do know. My daughter was told to go home from work in Baltimore at 6:00 and it took her over 3 hours to get home. It normally takes about 30 minutes at the most. I worried the entire time until she arrived home safely.
Hope everyone had a great day.

Well, RAVENS fire Zorn and say Cam will have an expanded role with the QB's..... Hope this helps the O! just GITERDUN on this 10th anniversary of the RAVENS Superbowl.....

Mason also had his finger operated on, so wish him a speedy and full recovery..

Also looks like the body found was that of Ed Reeds Bro!!!

    Re: The Driftwood

    Good Morning Folks,

Too bad about Zorn, now we'll see how Cam does by himself with Joe. Could be better because now he only has one person relaying info to him. Plus if the Ravens don't do as well offensively next season (heaven forbid), we will probably see Cam fired. Everyone have a great day.

    GO RAVENS!!!
