Re: Squeeler fans on verge of mental breakdown...
LOL!!
Doesn't look much different then most other message boards after a loss including ours.
I do find it rather entertaining though that they have a thread started calling Santonio Holmes a bust after 2 games against pretty damn good defenses.
Shit, I wonder what they would be saying if they had Travis Taylor forced down their throats for 5 freakin' years!!
Will Die A Ravens Fan!!

Re: Squeeler fans on verge of mental breakdown...
Yeah, I've seen our board (whatever one we were on..not this one...yet) go a bit bonkers when the Ravens lose or stink up the joint. Hell, I've been to a game where the Ravens won big time, only to come back home and from reading the board, you'd thought the Ravens lost!
That said, I do enjoy watching the Steelers get shut out. And I also enjoy seeing thread titles like this on the steelers board: Bubby Brister is wearing #7
we aren't just loyal, we are obsessed. and we are violently so. we are baltimore, and we are the epitome of dysfunctionality.

What I find entertaining is the beat down they are giving their coaches...you know, the ones who just took them to the SB.

God...the old board was rediculous.
But it's a bunch of teenagers posting over there, I think.

"When is Cohwer gonna learn"
"Dog Poo in My Home!!!!"
"I'd be OK with it if Ben were pulled right now"
"The Offense SUCKS!"
"It's official FWP SUCKS!"
"O-Line Extremely OVERRATED!"
"Next year....can we please not play the jags?"
"No Better than Maddox"
"Troy needs to learn how to tackle"
==============================================
You know what? As much as we were upset with our offensive performance on Sunday, I think we have a little more reason to just smile. I swear people over there are more brutal than we are!

Between the Ravens win, the Redskins nationally televised embarrassment, and the Steelers nationally televised embarrassment, it's been a fine week indeed!

Pitt is now the first of the Big 3 AFCN teams to show weakness. I only think 2 of the 3 of us will advance to the playoffs, so I hope Cincy takes it to them next week and drop them to 1-3.

This is wonderful. Would someone send them a Ravens towel to wipe away their tears.

Re: Squeeler fans on verge of mental breakdown...
That is a hard question I am fighting with internally,do we want Cinci to win and go 3-0,or do we want the Squeelers to win and have both at 2-1 giving the Ravens a 1 game lead in the division if we win??? Im torn, because in the end this division is gonna be tight and that one game might be the difference between say us winning the division or Cinci. With the AFc being so stacked that MIGHT knock us out of the playoffs if we had to fight for a wildcard with 3 or 4 other teams when its all said and done.

Me? I'm rootin' for Pittsburgh. Yeccchhh. I can't believe I just said that. But Cincy looks tough, real tough. Pittsburgh is going to get every team's best for all 16 games. (Plus, Jacksonville just showed the rest of the league the blueprint for beating them)
I want the Ravens to win the division, and in order for that to happen I believe that Cincy needs to falter. Our offense simly isn't good enough yet to compete with them.

Re: Squeeler fans on verge of mental breakdown...
The Stealers are in for a LOOOONNNNGGG season.
Losing the Bus and Randel-El will hurt them more than they think. Willie Parker and Ike Taylor aren't the players most fans think they are but, thanks to the Stealer FO, they are locked into them.
And with Bennie's "I don't need no stinkin' helmet" accident and subsequent appendictomy, he's not in "football shape" and won't be having the year he had last year.
Throw in another year on their OL, the fact that the right side of their OL gave up more sacks than our right side OL and with a tougher schedule this season, they aren't going to finish with the record that the Pee & Black Mullet Nation think they are going to have.
Now, Troy P is hurting.
I'm telling ya, they got LUCKY last year with a weak schedule, a year with very few injuries and lots of help from the refs. It ain't gonna happen this year.
That being said, I'm not sure I want the Bengals at 3-0. But I just can't bring myself to cheer for the Sqealers. I'll let the chips fall were they may.

That's it right there. Without the power running game, the Steelers are a middle of the road team. The ironic thing is that Batch is more suited to their current team than Ben.

I've always thought Parker wasn't as good as most Steeler fans think, but now they are stuck with him since the FO just gave him a new contract. Parker is the fast, shifty back but they need that Bus-like bruiser too. I think that's why they picked up Davenport, but we'll see what if anything he can do for them.

Fire Jughead
Same as last year, and I do agree, they will have a long season.

Re: Squeeler fans on verge of mental breakdown...
Davenport was active last night but his specialty is in the redzone, something that they didnt even come CLOSE too all night.Looks like they should call their Rb "Slow Willie Parker" and their S Troy ' I have missed every tackle I have attempted this year' Polamalu.
