Gallup: 89% credit military not OBY for kill

A Gallup poll dated 2 May, the day after Bin Laden was killed says 89%
of Americans give credit to the military and CIA for finding and killing
Osama Bin Laden.

Slightly over 1/3 credit the Prez.

So much for Galen. The guy just happened to be there and gave the order which
was good but had nothing to do with the rest of it and he opposed the CIA used to find him.

Most people know.

I give the SEALS the most credit for putting their lives on the line and executing the actual plan, followed by the CIA for planning a flawless mission, followed by Obama for making the final decision and showing the political guts to finally get the guy, followed by me for campaigning and getting a great President elected, followed by my mom for raising me in a liberal compassionate household, followed by the rats and worms in the compound for getting out of the way so the SEALS wouldn't trip over them during the mission and finally to Dubbs since without his folly in Iraq, the opportunity to go after Osama probably wouldn't have been there the above heroes.

So you're saying the poll is right? I mean he slept on making the call to take out the worlds #1 wanted man?!?

Obama did not kill Osama...the fact that ONLY 89% think it was the miltary that killed him is sad. Now I could see how some might think there were CIA operatives pulling the trigger but I am pretty sure we can agree safely that Obama didn't pull the trigger. This is really a poorly worded poll.

Obama came into office and told Panetta to make it his priority to find Osama so they more or less reopened the case. In a short time they found him and presented plans to Obama who made the "executive" decision.

You are worried about 16 hours? I guess you would say he was "dithering" right? I am fine with our President taking the time he needed to make the right decision. You can disagree but guess what? You are wrong and Obama was right as indicated by the results and the rejuvenated spirit of Americans.

I guess the good news is that if it took Obama 16 hours to make the right decisions we can both wonder what the F was Dubbs doing for 7.5 years?

Talk about dithering.

And stupid.

He said in the other forum it only took OBY 2 yrs to do what W couldn't
do in 8 yrs.

LOL - It was Ws waterboarding which OBY banned that got the intell and
it took several more years to work on it.
