His "dressing down" had to do with the way he related to his players, the media and within the FO - not how he used players. Not once did they ever mention personnel.

I'm sorry, but if the owner ever gets involved in making in-season personnel decisions, then we're sunk. That is the last thing I would want the owner to do. Somehow, I find it hard to believe that Bisciotti would dictate in-season personnel moves. And, if he did, Billick would have asked out and been long gone at the end of the season.

Also, Moore went on the inactive list in week 4 - long before the season was officially over and long before any supposed edicts from above.

But from my vantage point, Moore has had more chances than any receiver we've had outside of TT.
How? He played well enough during his rookie year, until he hit the rookie wall. He played in 4 of 16 games last year. He's played in 1 of 2 games this year - getting in on maybe a half dozen plays.

Maybe that's more of a chance than you feel he deserves, but it's not much of a chance by any other measure.

Sorry, DaB, but, while I would agree that Billick has many faults, I'm just not seeing this one. If Moore's very sporadic PT is somehow an indication of Billick's favor for him, well then, I don't really think I'd want Billick on my side.
