    Suggs - nice perspective

“I think it’s bananas. It’s crazy that we’re still here, that we ain’t got nothing done. What’s going on right now is just ridiculous,” Suggs said Friday afternoon. “We’re in a very fortunate business. The NFL is a very fortunate business. The players are very fortunate. And like I’ve said, who’s really losing out is the younger guys in the league and most importantly our fans, the people who make our business run.

“I just hate that it’s taking too long to do what’s right. Let’s stop being egotistical and let’s just do what’s right for the owners and the players and the fans. There’s a great area in everything, and we’ve got to be able to find it. And it’s got to be right, it’s got to be fair to all parties involved.”

I think he should jump into the negotiations with a lead pipe like he did in the parking lot in AZ.

If all the people that is involved with negotiations thought like that, this lock out would have been over a long time ago. All they are accomplishing right now is putting a bad taste in in a lot of fans mouths.
I like what Suggs has said. Makes sence to me.
    Get er done basicly.
So close, but yet, so far away. Sad really.

I really wish Suggs would sound more articulate with his media sound bites, but if he HONESTLY feels that "Let’s stop being egotistical and let’s just do what’s right for the owners and the players and the FANS" [bolding mine], then good for him.

I've barely heard word one form any of these knuckleheads (players OR owners) about the fans, and the fact that they seem to be considered the ultimate cash cow.

Whatever. I just hope we get to see Suggs terrorizing Big Ben week 1.

    NNS--
I'm with the program. It'd be nice to see M. Suggs lay a Scott-like hit on Roeth in Game 1!

Suggs has a good perspective and so did Stevie B. Why dont they just kick everyone else out, let the two of them negotiate the deal?

I could care less what Suggs sounds like... As long as he's smashing people all over the field, I'm happy.

IMO, it's a good sign when players like Suggs begin to come out against the faltering negotiations. The Lawyers will continue picking gnat crap out of pepper until the players get tired of it and demand a deal get done. The more high profile guys that come out and complain the better.
