    Re: Seattle Ravens Game

We are now up to 25 purchased, and the Seahawks group sales in squatting on some adjacent seats if anyone wants to be added. We only have a few days to do this.

Section 343, rows BB & CC stacked.

You are not included in the 25 purchased (since no recent contact). You can get them as per above if you move quickly.

Tailgating update: I got all 25 invited to a weekly private tailgate party 1 1/2 blocks from the stadium. Normally about 40-50 people at a downtown repair garage which is turned into a bar & barbecue each week. They are welcoming us after I swore we have no rowdies. Cost nothing, just bring some food to contribute & BYOB. Free street parking, as long as you arrive early.

    Per my Seattle nephew.

I'll post maps and precise driving instructions, later.

Sorry I haven't been able to check the board for the past few days. I'm definitely still interested in 2 tickets. bamaravens, if you included me in the tickets you already have, then let me know and we can make arrangements. I'll send an e-mail to the address you gave. If not, I'll get in touch with Mista T to see if he still has anything available.

Thanks Mista T. That sounds great. I will start a list soon of who will bring what. Are there grills already there or would we need to bring that as well?

Should be plenty of room. If we overwhelm them, we can spill out onto sidewalk. I will need a final headcount next month.

Also, we should discuss if we want to have catered food (if the owner will allow it).

For those of you in Portland some of us will be meeting to watch the Ravens/Steelers game this Sunday at the Macadam Grill 5833 SW Macadam Ave. Please come and join us. If you know you can make it, please let me know so we can reserve the table.

Tailgating update: My Seattle nephew will be getting details this week on the food which will be provided. I'll repost, along with map and free parking data.

Also, FYI for your advance planning, this location is just a few blocks from both the Stadium and from the Seattle light rail line which originates at SeaTac airport.

I will be travelling to Seattle with another friend from Baltimore. My cousin lives in Seattle and is buying us tickets. My question is, what bars are all the fans going to be going to? Has anyone heard of any Ravens parties or is it still too early?

My lady and I are flying up from Dallas to this game. First time in Seattle, staying downtown near pikes place. We would love to meet up with you guys before the game, and we will for sure throw in money for food if there is any room at the pregame spot...

    Re: Seattle Ravens Game

My wife and I live in Issaquah and would like to join the tailgating...not sure if it's invite only, but count us in. Just bought our tickets off ticket exchange. Can't wait to watch the Ravens in person!

Can you give more details...address possibly?

    Re: Seattle Ravens Game

There should be ample room for four more to address both posts above. We will fill in details once we get them.

Does anyone know of another fan who would like to to join the group of 28? One person has backed out. We got the seats at $55, or $10 below Ticketmaster face value.

We need to party somewhere on Saturday night as well. How about we pick a brewery to throw a little impromptu Ravens fan party on Saturday night. I elect the Rocky Mountain Brewery next to the Hilton. Since I'm staying at the Hilton. LOL!

I'll be there as well. I'm definitely interested in activities on Fri/Sat night and before the game on Sunday. I'll be sure to check back when that weekend gets closer.

    Hilton Seattle downtown. 6th Avenue.

The Rock Bottom Brewery is right next door.

We could also meet at the Pike Brewery on Saturday night if that's more convenient. Let's pick a place for Saturday night libations and see how many can attend.

Actually, check that.. I think the Tap House Brewery will be the place to go on Saturday night.

Thumbs up Re: Seattle Ravens Game

re tailgating ..... my wife's nephew (who will be tailgating with us) sent me this note:

25 people are ok. He has a grill. They have some food but best to bring what we need. Will get a map of the area with where the free parking is, and send that to you this week.
I'll either disseminate map & directions via e-mail next week, or post the map if I can figure out how to do it -- unless, do any of you have photobucket or something similar which can be linked from here? Again, this is within a few blocks of the stadium, with street parking if you get there sufficiently early.

I'll check into getting some disposable coolers and ice, but anyone driving up may need to help.

If anyone is flying in for the game and cannot purchase tailgate food or beer, let me know and I'll see if I can handle it. I'll be arriving late afternoon Saturday and will do minimal shopping, but I don't want to be stuck with buying a dozen varieties of meat and beers for 25 people again.

Let's also start a sound-off of who plans to attend the tailgate arty:

my group = 4 tailgating (4 to go directly to the game)

MikeK coming from Portland = 4 (I'll - I'll try to wake him up to participate here)

    Re: Seattle Ravens Game

One thing to consider.. the east coast games start at 10 AM PST.... So if you're tailgating prior to this game, you're going to miss the early games.

Me and my buddy may just go to one of the stadium area sports bars to catch the early games.
