Odd, I saw earlier today, Rex Ryan said he wanted Braylon back...

If Floyd is really expected to sign here, Mason isn't coming back anyway. Might as well let him go to Jets.

Rex is never going to get over being passed over in Baltimore.

Maybe Rex will get the trifecta of Ravens players telling him no thanks.

Rex talks a lot but he didn't get Gregg or Heap. I doubt he gets Mason.

His job is in New York but his heart is in Baltimore. He wouldnt be angry about being passed over, now that he has a HC job, if he didnt really want the Ravens job.

Of course he wanted the Ravens job, but the Ravens weren't the only team who didn't want Rex's brazen style. I get that he wants players that he knows but to swoop in before a Floyd deal is finalized to me sends a certain message. I could be completely reading the situation wrong, but I do feel Rex wants to stick it to the Ravens.

Can't wait until we play them again either.

Why do the Jets publish every single thought they ever have every second? I'm sick of it, their fleeting whims making headlines.

And did Rex Ryan ever meet a free agent he didn't like?

Per @CBSSportsNFLTEN, Derrick Mason (@deemason85) will sign with #Jets if he passes physical Thursday #ravens #titans
    Per Jamison Hensley's twitter

This is getting out of hand with Rex.

The timing of this is really calculated

Jamison Hensley just said on twitter that he could sign w/ the Jets on Friday if he passes a physical tomorrow. Not sure how I feel about this. I hate the Jets a little more but other than that I didn't really see him coming back here.

Rex Ryan is mentally ill. I think he eventually will have a nervous breakdown.

Its funny, Rex spouts off every FA that he wants to snatch up and has pretty much failed...yet the Eagles say nothing and have dominated the FA market this offseason, making a lot of big moves.

Rex should take a lesson from Andy.

I am saying this was his dream job. Its the one he coveted most.

I think Rex would have turned down any organization in the NFL to coach the Ravens.

Look at it from Mason's perspective.

They don't want me back but they're chasing Floyd to give him three million dollars a year.

It's all business but there has to be some hurt feelings involved. Rex seems like he is building a haven for Ravens players who have been done dirty. It's really annoying.

    You're right.

The Ravens did all right with their hire, and he's doing good in New York.

It was a happy ending. To still be holding a grudge is childish, but that's Rex.

And that's gonna be what he uses to motivate them when they play us. The sad thing is Rex has done almost everything the same as us. "Play like a Jet", put Bart Scott as the "Ray Lewis"-type leader of the defense, among another things.

Off-topic: Bart Scott will never hold a candle close to Ray.
