Final results for week 15 are up. Captain Offense squeaked through with an OT win.

Remember almost all of the games are on Saturday this coming week.

    WEEK SIXTEEN: Washington Redskins

Very tough games this time of the year. I have to reach into my grab bag and go against the grain, but my son-in-law will be happy.

Good Luck, jaydee414. Happy Holidays to you, the mod and all others on the board. Have a great time and a healthy new year.

We will see if we both make it past the Christmas weekend.

And the same to you and yours, Cap. And to anyone else still following us.
It was a toss up for me this week between CAR & WAS, but I just COULD NOT pull the trigger to root for Washington. Ever.
Cap, where do you set up to tailgate? Love to stop by and shake your hand on Saturday.

We are in Lot O, # 258. We get there by 9:45 to 10:00. I will be heading over to Lot J when I get there just to say Hi to GirlsKickButt and the Gang there, so I should be around by 10:30. You are welcome to share food and drink, and I look forward to meeting you.

As for the Washington pick, if I can whore out for the Survivor Pool by picking Pittsburgh, then I figure anything goes.

This is evidently the dark side of surviving this long in a survivor pool -- picking the Redskins and/or the Steelers to win a game. That doesn't mean you have to actually root for them to win, but still . . .

And btw, I'm still following this down-to-the-wire contest (I was in it until the Eagles laid an egg at home against the Cardinals). Good luck to you guys and enjoy the Christmas weekend.

Merry Christmas to everyone still paying attention and to our to heavyweights still admirably battling it out.

Now a housekeeping question for Caption Offense and jaydee414. This is just something to think about - no need to decide right away. If you both of you lose in the same week, would you like to continue picking to break the tie or just leave it as a tie? I'll let you guys decide how you want to handle that scenario.

Way to go jaydee and congratulations to Caption O for a well done performance. I thought for sure we would be going to the playoffs with this thing.

Congratulations, jaydee414. You did very well and it was a good fight. Thanks for stopping by so we could meet in person. It was a pleasure.

I can now blame my son-in-law for his team ending the contest. There is something I can take from losing.

I bow to your victory, jaydee414.

Cap, the pleasure was all mine. Thanks for the hospitality. As re the contest, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
Thanks to Kelsey for running the pool.

Since there are many posters that practice an alternate universe, my pick would have been San Francisco is Ponder had not been hurt and mess up my pick ( or if my son-in-law's team did not suck ).

    Just saying.

    Congrats again, jaydee414.

Cap: And by my pick AGAINST Washington this week, based on previous experience with those Racist Bastards, they will most likely kick the tar outta the Iggles.
BTW, would love to have a copy of the our photo from Saturday.

Congrats jaydee414! Always a tough contest to win since it goes on and on. Nice job.

Thanks to kelsey59 who once again put this together. It's the best run pool on the boards.

You're right about the Eagles, they knocked me out in Week 10 or 11. I can't pick them again, even in these nothing-to-lose circumstances, so I'd go with the Patriots this week.

And congrats to jaydee and Captain Offense, it was a great contest. Thanks to kelsey59 for running it. Happy new year, everyone!
