Game Thread - Week 2 Preseason - Redskins
I know that someone else usually starts the game threads around here, but I figured that I would start it sense I did not see one up yet.
"When questioned, the Elders explained that they were in search of magical powers. However, they're actually searching for the whereabouts of a certain ring. This ring is a legendary treasure that long ago was known to exist"

Re: "Battle of the Beltways" Game Thread.
It is interesting that neither Washington nor Baltimore fans want to admit that this game is being taken seriously by anyone, but they can't stand each other. The players might not be taking it seriously though, I will admit.

If Mike Tirico isn't one of the most condescending color commentators in football....

Phew, ER, I'm glad you called this the "Battle of the Beltways" with an 's'...

Re: "Battle of the Beltways" Game Thread.
Thank you for the "S."
"A lot" is a two word expression denoting a great deal or greatly, as in "I like sunshine a lot." "Alot" is a lovable imaginary grammar monster. You can love a lot; you can love an alot; you can love alots a lot; but they are not the same thing.

Gruden prepared for the game by saying "this guy is a football player" over and over for two hours.

Gotta love Jaws saying, "Starting two QBs in one game two series apart makes no freaking sense at all. But then again, it's Washington..."

The Washington QB battle is a joke. Whoever is less shitty than the other one wins.

Re: "Battle of the Beltways" Game Thread.
Yeah, where is Sephy tonight?
I hate to tell you, but this is only taken seriously by the Ravens fans. Most Redskins fans I know don't care one bit about the Ravens. There are the exceptions like Kenskin. It is interesting that neither Washington nor Baltimore fans want to admit that this game is being taken seriously by anyone, but they can't stand each other.
I know I could not care any less about the Redskins.

Suggs plays the screen better than any linebacker in the NFL.
Cary Williams will not let the coaches take him off the field. My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron
