Joe seems to be using the preseason to try new things with his throws. He's putting the ball in odd spots.
Maybe he's just experimenting. Only way to grow is to try new things and preseason is the time to do it.My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron

Every aspect of the team looks good so far, except the one that matters the most. What's the deal Joe?

That rook got hurt because Jah Reid blew him off the ball faster than he could backup.
Nice push by Jah.My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron

It's the preseason fellas. Smith should have caught that.

Torrey Smith showing why he may not be ready to be the 3rd receiver.

That play looked wrecked from the beginning and Joe salvaged it with a quick, accurate throw. Torrey lets the team down.

Re: "Battle of the Beltways" Game Thread.
Honestly, its really early, and still preseason, but Torrey Smith looks a lot more like Travis Taylor than a work in progress. He looks awful out there every game.
Which I don't understand, cause he had great hands and physicality in college.

Re: "Battle of the Beltways" Game Thread.
"A lot" is a two word expression denoting a great deal or greatly, as in "I like sunshine a lot." "Alot" is a lovable imaginary grammar monster. You can love a lot; you can love an alot; you can love alots a lot; but they are not the same thing.

Reed, Doss, and Williams are all outplaying Torrey. He's our worst receiver.
