Costly Bad Call on Ravens skins game

Remember that TD score with :22 seconds left. The Ball didnt break the plane of Goaline. The ball was on goaline which means no TD. The Ball must cross the goaline completely. So Refs screwed the skins on that one. You see the NFL doesnt like Dan Snyder so they screwed the skins.

Uh huh... and since that pylon marks where the plane of the goal line starts and the ball is clearly touching the pylon, that means the tip of the ball broke the plane of the goal line.... hence touchdown.

    Learn the rules.

In order for a touchdown to be scored, the ball must cross this line and be in complete possession, known as "breaking the plane." If even the tip of the ball breaks the plane, a touchdown is awarded as long as the player with the ball has full control of it.

You are wrong. The pylon is on the goal line so by hitting it while in bounds, he broke it. TD. I beleive Hall did the same thing on his Interception return.

This guy just made an entire thread exclusively to demonstrate his lack of understanding of a basic rule of football

This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

up to now ive just been reading but this calls for a response.. if you even watched the game ray lewis was commentating and he said before the game they were told of the rule that if the ball hits the pylon while the player is in control its a touchdown, it doesnt have to break the line.. even listen to the refs reasoning for it, he said the ball hit the pylon so its a touchdown.. im not sure if its a new rule or if it just wasnt common knowledge and thats why ray only found out.. but u sir are wrong...

arnie, not sure that's entirely true. Boldin hit the pylon on the catch down to the 1, but the refs clearly saw the ball did not hit the goal line when he was pushed out, so no TD.

well Ray said he was told before the game if the ball hits the pylon its a score, the ref said it for why it was a touchdown and did hall not do it, going by what someone said, i cant remember? the ref contradicted himself then with boldins not touchdown and the touchdown that was given, he def said hits the pylon its a touchdown and ray was adament it was because he was "told before the game" as he said

Boldin was called down at the 1 because he stepped out of bounds before going into the endzone.

Right. That's why the pylon is there. Not a new rule.
