LOL - OBY speaks before the game

LOL - Boner invited OBY to address a joint congressional session on 8 Sep
and he accepted under the condition he gives the speech before the game,
ie, the NFL opening season game between the world champion Green Bay
Packers and the previous world champs - the New orleans Saints.

With his numbers so close to Bush territory, he knew nobody would watch
him.


When he gave the last State of the Union address, more people watched
Rush Limbaugh, his public enemy #1, than him. Rush was on golf
channel at the same time.

Gotta hand it to him, he's a fast learner but I wonder if he'll clue us in on
his jobs plan as 400,000 more jobs were just lost.

OBY originally wanted to give the speech on 7 Sep but Boner said no. The Prez is
being invited by the Speaker so he can't demand anything. Also, he was going to
give talking points on his jobs plan over a teleprompter w/o even sending the plan
to Congress.

Jim DeMint said send us the plan first. I want to read it not listen to his talking points
over a teleprompter so that forced OBY to accept the 8 Sep date, probably because
there is no plan, just talking points.

OBY really caved in and looks bad this time according to Rush.

But does anyone remember when Speaker Tippy O'Neil refused to let
Reagan speak before both houses? Hmmmmmmmmmm

At least Boner lets OBY speak but when he says so.
