Anyone think the Ravens lose this Game?
Normally I don't buy into the theory that an opponent has no chance against the Ravens. For the second time this year though I just can't see how the Ravens can possibly lose this one. The other time was the game against the Rams.
Can anyone think of real scenario where the Jags win this game? All I keep seeing is 1 offensive weapon in MJD and keep looking how the Ravens have already handled Mendenhall, Arian Foster, Steven Jackson and Chris Johnson. I just don't see any possible way the Jags win this.

I'm not taking the bait.

Marcedes Lewis is a pretty damn good TE but the Jags offense still doesn't scare me one bit.
90% of the game is half mental

Of Offense, Defense, and Special Teams - it would take a catastrophic failure of any two or more of those. And I don't see that happening.
If they ever tell my story, let them say I walked with giants. Let them say I lived in the time of Ray Lewis, tamer of Running Backs. Let them say I lived in the time of Ed Reed.

Miscues on offense that give Jax points off turnovers. Their defense isn't too shabby.

I hope the Ravens dominate tonight and take no prisoners. I don't think they can stop Ray Rice and the speed we have in Smith and Dickson. The D should absolutely obliterate their offense for 60 minutes. It'll be fun.

Chris Simms and Collinsworth both picked Jax, just sayin.
They gave the Stillers fits in Pitt last week, and they could be tough tonight. Anything is possible but I expect a beatdown tonight.World Domination 3 Points at a Time!

Jags defense is respectable. That said, Collinsworth is an idiot for picking the Jags.

always a chance. But Jax is gonna have to win the turnover battle and score a defensive or Special Teams TD.

Re: Anyone think the Ravens lose this Game?
We were unpleasantly surprised Week 2 in Nashville. That said, Blaine Gabbert isn't the wily veteran Matt Hasselbeck is. And the Week 1 Victory Hangover is long past. As long as we avoid dreadful mistakes -- like multiple turnovers in our own territory -- Jax shouldn't be able to put up many points against us. The Jags do have a good defense, but we should look upon this as an opportunity for Joe and the offense to show what they can do for a Monday night audience. No strip sacks while we're on offense, please!

Re: Anyone think the Ravens lose this Game?
Jags have a good defense and MJD. If they, God forbid, were able to knock Flacco or Rice out of the game they could possibly win. The problem is that on offense they are fairly one dimensional and this defense is going to take MJD away. Couple that with their rookie QB that is going to see things executed on the defensive side of the ball that he has never seen before (I know he just saw the Steelers D last week, but they aren't as good as the Ravens this year, not even close), and I just don't see it happening for the Jags.

Flacco melt down with pick 6 and a bad fumble in our end.
Turns into a 'cincyesque' game.
I doubt it but its their superbowl vs us on MNF.

No

Even if the offense isn't its best tonight I don't see them getting past the Ravens D!Boh

BTW, HOW in the H-E-double hockey sticks did the Jags get not one but TWO MNF games this season????

Re: Anyone think the Ravens lose this Game?
Would say crowd noise could cause problems with Cam slow to get plays to the offense and Flacco not allowed to change them. But its jacksonvillle. Probably more raven fans than jaguar fans at the stadium.
I can't see them dropping this game without some real craziness. Like Ravens getting touchdowns called back for malice in their hearts or some crap like that detroit boondoggle. Carey isn't reffing is he? That guy has to be betting on games with his crazy calls.

Re: Anyone think the Ravens lose this Game?
I keep thinking about how flacco lit the jags up in his rookie year. I think they try to take away the longer stuff leaving them vulnerable in the middle. Im expecting big games from boldin and Dickson.

Re: Anyone think the Ravens lose this Game?
Well, to state what should be obvious, the way they could lose this is turnovers. The Jags defense is good enough to imagine they get a couple turnovers and otherwise stymie the Ravens offense, while they score off of turnovers and perhaps even special teams since the Ravens aren't great there either. That would be the scenario.
