What does this offense need the most ?

If f you could improve one thing, what would it be ?

A. Better QB play ?
B. Better offensive line ?
C. Better coaching on offense ? or overall ?
D. Better WR's ?

Heres my take.....
They need to improve this Oline first and foremost. And I'm not saying it's a bad Oline.

This QB takes longer to process info then most NFL QB's.
Also improving the line improves running the football.
Flacco also needs to take off once in awhile.

Any thoughts ?

It would be ashame to waste another very talented defensive effort this year

Coaches say it is EXECUTION. I say it is the play that is UN-EXECUTABLE!

12-15yrd fly routes with the OLINE not holding up. CHANGE THE FREAKING PLAY!!

Do you have the DVR of the JAGS game?

In the 4th QTR Gruden and Jaws Showed the still shots of our WR that were 10-15 yrds down the field and all with no seperation, all at the same level and nothing underneath. Also in the one shot you can see the Pocket just about collapsed.

This line we have as played some very bad football which has caused us to not be able to run or pass effectively.

In another thread I brought up the same point about the MNF crew showing that 3 or 4 times, we could have had Montana bak there on Monday night and it would not have a made a difference. I'm not saying Joe did not have a bad game because he did, but with the line playing the way it did, the receivers getting no separation I'm impressed Joe did not have 4 or 5 picks.

While Joe has to take some blame for Monday, like said above Cam has to adjust his game plan on the fly, if running the 9's is not working try something else, instead of just being a stubborn SOB that says if I keep calling it eventually it has to work!

We are between the devil and the deep blue sea. Some feel Cam's ego gets in the way of Joe's maturity. Others believe Flacco will never be an elite QB. While there are some who feel the OLine lacks the strength to protect the QB and open holes for the running game. I don't know the answer, but the first thing I'd do is to relieve Cam of his OC duties. Can't really "fire" the QB or OLine, and IMO Joe should now (4th season) be confident, but Cam hasn't instilled that confidence that Flacco needs to rise to a higher level. We have a Super Bowl ready defense, an offensive change (after that awful Jags game) seems obvious... Bc

Absolutely. Anyone notice the improvements on defense this year with a new coach and pretty much the same personnel? The right OC would do wonders for this offense.

The main issue is the offensive line. If the offensive line run blocked better to the left, it would add balance and instill more confidence in the coaching staff. The left side of that offensive line has been a mess, every way that you could look at it. If the offensive line played better, much of what the offense is trying to do would work better.
