    Dec 4th Cleveland game flexed.

The Cleveland away game on 12/4 has been flexed to 4:05. I wish they would just leave these games alone.

At least it's an away game, I hate it when the home games get flexed more. I really don't need MORE time to drink before the games, I do fine for the 1:00 games.

    I prefer 1 pm starts.

In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

"Piece of crap game?" I don't necessarily agree. Brownies might be in last place but it's a divisional matchup and has a direct bearing on the AFCN race. And no reason to think it won't be a competitive game. Unless you thought the JAX and SEA games wouldn't be competitive either...

Re: Dec 4th Cleveland game flexed.

Its a lot better than flexing the home game against the Browns on xmas eve. Im already working on my strategy to get to the 1:00 game without pissing the familiy off too much. A 4:00 start will be a no go for sure.

I don't mind 4:00 away games after daylight savings since it allows me more daylight to get things done outside during the day. Its just a matter of game planning the kids since their naptime is over and they are awake for the entirety of the 4:00 game. I don't think they were too fond of me last week during the horrid Seattle game. There wasn't an excess of patience in the house for sure.

Same here....For that week it looks like all east coast teams will have 1pm starts. Hopefully they wont tinker with that date.

It's an away game, so it doesn't bother me either way...

I hate 4:00 home games. Living in Calvert County, the whole day is shot when it's a 4:00 start. We usually leave at 10:00 AM for a 4:00 start, so can't do anything in the AM, and by the time we get back it is usually 8:30-9:00, so you don't get anything done in the evening either.

For a 1:00 we have time to get things done in the evening, and for the 8:00 starts we can get things done in the morning. 4:00 games suck.

Me too, home or away, it doesn't matter since I mostly watch them at a bar/restaurant. The games I do attend I try to go to early in the year when the weather is better and before flex scheduling starts.

It really sucks when they flex an away game and you are going to that game. It can screw up your flight.

when I first got the text, I thought they were flexing the sat- christmas eve game...
    oh ghost of christmas spirit-
please dont flex the christmas eve game...
please dont flex the christmas eve game...
please dont flex the christmas eve game...

Im not horribly family oriented nor religious,
But my niece and nephew are on this bizarro custody handoff arrangement
with who gets christmas eve and christmas day...

I would like to be home by 6pm - thats all-

I'm good with 4pm away games. Gives me time to nap before the game!

    Odd game to be flexed.

Unfortunately, CBS does not have the double-header, so we wouldn't be able to see Steelers/Bengals at 1:00 PM. (We would probably be stuck with Jets/Redskins anyway.)

Suspect if we hadn't blown it in Seattle, it wouldn't be flexed. Taking a gamble the Ravens'll blow it again.

If they hadn't, the Cin/Pit game or the Atl/Hou game would've been viable candidates (though you don't want to deprive 1pm slots from good games)

I can understand that! Well, I have a solution. I suggest you just give me your tickets then- problem solved :

Sounds like a good reason to stick around an extra day.. Take in the sights.. you know.. Like the Rock and Roll HOF.. and if that's not your cup of tea, there's always that burning river...

    Why????

Re: Dec 4th Cleveland game flexed.

That's cool as long as CBS has a double header and we aren't stuck with the Redskins as the only option. Redzone channel is cool but I like watching another good game at the same time.

Still a strange game to change.
