    Marching Band Half-Time Show

Please, never, never, ever let anyone in the marching band sing again. That was some of the worst out of key vocals I've ever heard. Why would they unveil the new vocals on a national TV game as well? Holy moly.

Halftime shows are not seen on TV. Then again, I was at the game so I am not sure if it was seen.

The band imo needs to retire.

I love the story behind "The Band That Wouldn't Die" and all that. But I really think we should do away with them. Does any other NFL team have a band? It's very college football, and their seats could go to some more crazy Ravens fans. Fans actually can make an impact on the game, marching bands? Not so much.

Ugh, usually I don't even pay attention to the band at halftime, but last night was AWFUL!!!

Who's bright idea was it to have singers? They forever ruined Journey for me.

    Keep the band!

I don't give a rats ass what other teams do.

There is something to be said about tradition. And one bad night of singing ain't changing it.

The band is horrible. They sound bad, the flag waving is totally unorganized, and they can't even march in good order. It is an embarrassment.

Anyone who wants to get rid of the band clearly did not see Enrique Iglesias "perform" at the Cowboys game...

They were horrible. It's time for them to go, this ain't College. It's a tradition that people need to let go of now!

    1. It was aired on TV
    2. It could not have been anywhere near as bad as Enrique Iglesias and Nickelback

2nd point I completey agree with. Although I watched from home last night and didn't see it on TV; maybe I missed it (sounds like I should be glad)

You left out the absurd and awful on-field rock combo. Overall, I've no problem w/ the band. It makes M&T different. I do think that the annual "Beltway Battle" exhibition game w/ the 'Skins deserves appearances by both team bands, regardless of the venue.

I watched on it on TV, the NFL Network. Maybe the local Baltimore station showing the game showed it? NFLN was busy showing highlights and stuff.

And that Cowboys halftime show was unwatchable.

Uh.... SO BAD..... I for one have had just about enough of the band.

The Colts game should be the last one they play at.

    Re: Marching Band Half-Time Show

Why can't we ever get a little variety? Why the same guy singing the anthem for 15 years (He's actually an excellent vocalist and a joy to listen to. I'm just asking for some variety)? Why the same "Script Ravens" opening? Why the same Journey/Black Sabbath/Zeppelin medley year after year at halftime?

How about getting local colleges and high schools to provide a marching band at halftime? I hear Morgan State is very good. How hard is it to get 10 different peope a year to sing the anthem? How about the female cheerleaders do 2 halftime shows a year?

No offense to the band. I think it's a great tradition, but marching bands are for college football.

I think the band members are crazy Ravens fans. Geeky, crazy Ravens fans with big noise makers. I like the tradition. They are bad, but they are a tradition.
