Nike's uniform designs for 2012
I don't know whether this has been discussed before or not. If so, I apologize to everyone, and mods, you can lock this. But I just needed to vent about it and see whether anyone else feels the same way.
Nike is getting the uniform design license for 2012 ( and probably beyond). The proposed uniforms for 2012 for all 32 teams are on nfl.com, here:

It's not final yet, but in my opinion, the unis are uniformly hideous. I certainly hope that ours are not really going to be like this! I love the Maryland crest, the colors and style, and definitely the black helmets. What is shown is really horrible. They even reversed the Raven logo on the helmet!
Thoughts?

These aren't real dude... Just because someone gets the uniforms licensing doesn't mean they get to change the designs of the uniforms, it just means they have the right to manufacture the uniforms. These were just some creative concepts.

These are the same concept uniforms from about 3-4 years ago.
He is calmer than you about the Ravens not opening the season at home.

Re: Nike's uniform designs for 2012
They're crap. Nike has too many designers - a corporate downsizing is clearly warranted.

This is football, not the catwalk.

This story has been debunked years ago.
Those are some dudes rendering and Bleacher Report ran with.
Nike has not released any concepts yet.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. Re: Nike's uniform designs for 2012
NFL is conservative, I don't anticipate many changes when Nike take over
It's not the freaking XFL
Biggest change I remember were the Jags a few years back

I don't think I like any of these designs. Who would dare change some of the teams timeless traditions?

Re: Nike's uniform designs for 2012
It will be interesting to see the what kind of non-jersey sideline gear that Nike puts out. I doubt the uni changes much but Reebok has made some really nice official sideline gear the last two seasons. I hope Nike can keep that run going..
