Ideal weekend scenario
All the AFC contenders except the benglas lose . Puts Pitt way behind us and sets them up to be a wild card with no hope of winning the division which gives them minimal motivation to try to beat us on the last game of the season. Maybe 3 PO teams come out of AFCN. Great googaloogamooga (for the old guys around here)

Re: Ideal weekend scenario
The ideal scenario starts with us beating a team we're supposed to beat...
.
.
FOR REED, BIRK, BOLDIN, RAY, ART, TEVIN, OJ, and BALTIMORE...
SUPER BOWL 47 CHAMPION RAVENS!!!!!!
"We don't make it easy, but that's the way the city of Baltimore is, and that's the way we are. We did this for them back home." - Joe Flacco, Super Bowl 47 MVP

Re: Ideal weekend scenario
I just want to see us beat the Browns.
However, if that happens, and the Bengals beat the Steelers, that'd be perfect.

Re: Ideal weekend scenario
The Steelers are due for a loss. You can't keep playing cliff-hanger football without losing a game here and there.. I honestly think Cincy beats them this weekend and I think San Fran beats them in two weeks. We just need to take care of business on our end. I don't think the Ravens have ever been in this position with 5 weeks left where if we won out we got the #1 seed.
As for other teams I'd like to see win this weekend.. Obviously Atlanta, and even the Skins beating the Jets would be nice. Would like nothing better than to see Rex and his love-fest team to completely miss the playoffs.

Re: Ideal weekend scenario
I was responding to the comment that all we have to do is win our games. If you stumble one more time than the Steelers this year, your two wins over the squeelers will be meaningless!!
Enjoy your half game lead for the moment!!!! There are still five weeks to play!!!!!

Re: Ideal weekend scenario
Actually it's not half a game lead. It can either be considered a zero-game lead on paper or effectively a one-game lead due to the tiebreaker. But it looks as though what's really being fought over is home-field advantage in the playoffs. I'm guessing that Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals all make the playoffs ...barring a late-season implosion by Cincy, which I don't see. AFCN is by far the toughest division in the conference. 11-5 may only get you third place...
