Re: Ideal weekend scenario
Actually it's not half a game lead. It can either be considered a zero-game lead on paper or effectively a one-game lead due to the tiebreaker. But it looks as though what's really being fought over is home-field advantage in the playoffs. I'm guessing that Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals all make the playoffs ...barring a late-season implosion by Cincy, which I don't see. AFCN is by far the toughest division in the conference. 11-5 may only get you third place...

Re: Ideal weekend scenario
I don't see any way Pitt loses this game at home. Why not enjoy the tight race down to the last week; it would be boring any other way

While it's not a 1/2 game lead as in the baseball standing sense, calling it a half-game lead would be a better descriptor than a full game lead, which it is cerrttainly not. If it were a full game lead, the Stillers would have to win and the Ravens lose in order to have the Stillers tie the Ravens.
I do agree about the exclamation points, and suggest that the young lady look up the definition of "troll". Perhaps she would be more comfortable playing in the sand-box at our smak forum. In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T
came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

hahahaha...
Not one response from them, yet they continued to talk smack as if the Ravens will implode and the Steelers will magically turn into some Superbowl juggernaut.
It ain't gonna happen. Too many turnovers this year. They caught a break with KC and Indy not having decent backup QB's on the road.... that trend will not continue @ SF. Plus, I will laugh until soy milk comes outta my nose if they lose to the Rams, but it can happen. After 5 years of early exits, the journey is finally complete.
