Is Mark Sanchez an upgraded version of Kyle Boller?

He is the most consistently inconsistent QB I have ever seen out side of Boller.

A great defense, great running game, and a weak QB. I give him his props for him making the playoffs but, they look just like the 2003-2005 Ravens.

his receivers drop a ton of passes, they've had injuries in the running game and by the way he still has a higher rating than Flacco.

So does Tebow. Would you trade Flacco for Tebow?

compare their other stats - they are almost identical. not sure why people say Flacco is so awesome and Sanchez sucks; they're not that far apart at all

Don't think Boller has ever played in a AFC Championship game.

By watching the games. Sanchez consistently throws some of the worst interceptions you could ever see. He often throws the ball right to the other team with his receiver not even close. He is also a pussy. Flacco stands in the pocket and fires the ball no matter what. Sanchez ducks and short arms passes when he is under pressure.

Well Flacco's had some head scratchers as well..

I've seen games where sanchez looks like Joe Montana, and i've seen games were he looks like Boller.

I could say the same for Flacco....

That said, i believe in my heart of hearts that Flacco is a better QB but we wont know for sure on these guys unless we give them a couple of years. That's when you really know who the good QB is and who the great one is. If Sanchez keep putting up pedestrian numbers and playing horrible then i would agree with you.

Dunno, I've seen a couple games and haven't wached him trip over his own feet and fumble without anyone near him like Boller used to do on a consistant basis. For now Sanchez gets the benefit of the doubt. Lol.

Turnovers. How many costly ints does Joe throw compared to Sanchez. You can use all the stats you want, but the eye test clearly favors Flacco.

Is Mark Sanchez driving 92 yards, through the air, against the top defense in the league, on their turf?

Yeah, this year, which is Sanchez's best year and Flacco's worst. Over their careers, it's not even close.

I do believe that Mark Sanchez is better than Kyle Boller.

you're right, Sanchez has been to the AFCC- twice. got me there

I'm not sure why some have to hate on the guy, he's a decent QB and very comparable to Joe.

Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens are 4-0 against the most competitive division in football.

Boller ruined the chances of playoff capable teams. All they had to do was plug in McNair, or even Wright, and it was playoffs.

No comparison at all. Sanchez might be along for the ride, but he isn't sabotaging his teams chances like Boller did.

Because if he were on a team with even a good defense, he'd be at best .500 and more likely .400 over his career and never sniffed a playoff game.

Guess Trent Dilfer was pretty similar to Flacco too, eh?

I didn't realize fumbles has nothing to do with pass protection. If joe wasnt mauled during every pass, he wouldn't lead the league in fumbles.

Interceptions, on the other hand, are a more QB independent stat (although not perfect). But regardless of stats, I've seen too many red zone turnovers by Sanchez for anyone to convince me they are of equal caliber. Joes not all that, but he's not Mark Sanchez.

Sanchez is joe flacco, combined with the untimely mistakes of Romo, or in other words, Kyle Boller.

at least he complets more than 50% of his passes... unlike someone

OK I got it, you hate Sanchez. But back it up with some facts if you want to make a case. There are way worse QBs in the league than Mark Sanchez. And if his receivers didn't drop so many passes he'd have much better stats.
