Could the Browns and Bengals be any LESS helpful?
Both have turned in miserable efforts, namely the Bengals, in defeating the Steelers. Poor Marvin Lewis doesn't still have a job in any other city, and these Browns seem to lack any soul.

While I agree, the Steelers gave them every opportunity to win and they didn't take advantage.
But doesn't it remind you of some of the Ravens games against the Steelers."It is an undeniable and may I say fundamental quality of man that when faced with extinction, every alternative is preferable." —Leonard Church

I wouldn't expect much from the 9ers either. They have their divison locked up. Why get starters hurt!

San Fran will be playing for a bye week still; the Saints are right behind them.

In that case they should win.

Re: Could the Browns and Bengals be any LESS helpful?
Sf will beat the Steelers and maybe the Browns might pull it off in Cleveland because they know they gave them this game.
Ben's ankle is also going to jacked up until the off season so his moving around is going to be limited. Pouncey is hurt as well.
The Ravens simply need to focus on winning one week at a time and they'll be fine.
Still though, its a damn shame that they pissed away that Jags game because the pressure is on the Ravens to stay ahead of these lucky cats (Pitt).

Hey, I heard the Big East is looking for teams, maybe the Ohio teams should give them a ring.

Coming off 10 days rest Pitt will man handle SF just like the Ravens did. Hope I"m wrong but that's what I expect.

Re: Could the Browns and Bengals be any LESS helpful?
Jim is not going to rush just four guys against Ben. He'll send the house because contrary to ESPN's belief that Ben has superpowers, he'll still be hobbled and immobile. Ben can stand in all he wants but to get beaten into submission by that defense is a real possibility.
In addition, Pouncey, Troy and Ziggy Hood are hobbled as well.
SF at home will be physical and gritty enough to beat the Steelers.
The 9ers have too much to play for to lose and if you don't think John is not going to give Jim every key to beating them then they can't be brothers.

SF does need to send a lot of blitzes, however they can become useless if they dont cover the wideouts and the short slants and screens they love to run

San Fransisco has the corner to cover.

Glad someone started this thread....
Stupid Browns!
Those jerks made me believe that they could steal in win in Pittsburgh. Then they just collapsed and became the Browns all over again. If they ever tell my story, let them say I walked with giants. Let them say I lived in the time of Ray Lewis, tamer of Running Backs. Let them say I lived in the time of Ed Reed.

Less than you'd think. The 49ers hold all the tiebreaks over New Orleans & would have to lose at least 2 more games to give up the bye. Their final 3 games are all in-division, though away, & only the Seachickens in week 16 have any realistic hope of knocking them off unless half the team lands on IR.
--& if you think Jim is going to do anything for John that puts his team in any jeopardy at all--e.g., playing players whose health is borderline--then you don't understand sibling rivalry. SF will play hard but won't take any unwarranted risks in the name of brotherly love.--and if you don't think John is not going to give Jim every key to beating them then they can't be brothers.

Re: Could the Browns and Bengals be any LESS helpful?
That was Houston's best chance to lose the rest of the way, with Carolina and Indy coming up the next two weeks. Nice job getting outscored 3-17 in the second half and giving up an 80-yard two-minute TD drive to a fifth-round rookie QB. You suck, Cincinnati. Pack up for the offseason. I'd better not see any life out of you on New Year's Day.

Am I the only one here glad to see Cinci lose this game? I think we win out, but I don't want Cinci to be playing for a playoff spot that final game.

Re: Could the Browns and Bengals be any LESS helpful?
I guess, it'll just be a real shame if BAL would defeat either NE or HOU in a two-way tiebreaker but doesn't get the #1 seed through some stupid three-way-tiebreaker voodoo. And I'm not sure Houston loses again (Carolina, @Indy, Tennessee). I guess I need to... gulp... root for Mr. Tebow next week.

Re: Could the Browns and Bengals be any LESS helpful?
re; Bengals; maybe Dalton and Green have hit a rookie wall; or maybe it's the improved level of competition. they've lost Bobbie Williams (G) for the year also. hopefully the fight will be out of them by week 17.
I'm definitely rooting for Tebow, let alone rooting against the Patrots.Baltimore Ravens, 2012 NFL Champions!
