Mason cut by Texans.
I'm betting Derrick never thought his season would play out like this. Rough year for Dmase.

I wish the Ravens would bring him back for the playoff run...like for WR depth.

Re: Mason cut by Texans.
I think it'd be a nice move, if we make the SB, to cut a guy who should pass through waivers, sign Mason to a 1 year deal, and let him play in the SB as a reserve. We don't owe him anything, but I think it'd be a nice move.
Wasn't Mason a returner at one time? Just something to think about..

The only reason I would bring Mason in is if Boldin went down with season ending injury.

Re: Mason cut by Texans.
Good to know he is out there if we need him.
And he doesn't need to pass through waivers, he is a free agent.

Re: Mason cut by Texans.
he dropped a catchable ball that would've given them a big gain during that comeback yesterday. maybe that was what did it, I dunno. at least he gets paid through the end of the year and he had a nice long career
