That's the worst football-related injury I've ever seen, it's as bad as some of those leg injuries you see in "soccer".

That was nasty.. Word is he has use of all extremities which is great news.. However he has fractured vertebrae which require surgery. He may never play again.

i have never seen anything like that before outside of a horror movie. Football aside, I hope Knox can live "normal" life.

This might serve as a wake up to all of the helmet to helmet rule or other safety rule critics who think today's game resembles flag football. It is a fast and brutal game, and if injuries like this can be reduced or eliminated, I'm all for it.
