Re: Brutal NE Weather Could Cause Another Post Season Disaster for Pats
We recently benefited from a tuck rule call this year.
I don't see this hurting the Patriots too much, much of their passing is short and intermediate. If they were depending on throwing deep it might hurt some.
The temp will be around 20 during the game and the winds look to be in the 12-15 MPH range.
It does help the Broncos but not that much. If they can run the ball and get to Brady they can win.

I can't see Brady losing to the Denver Tebows, but I also didn't see it happened to the Steelers. We will see.

It isn't going to snow, however, it will be cold and breezy.

That's a stretch. Denver was 8-8. If you are going to go that route, then the Patriots beat a winning team in 9-8 denver a month ago. They also beat a winning teams in Oakland (2-1 at the time) & New York Jets (5-3) if you want to look at the records at the time of the game. Can Denver win? Sure, but I'm not holding my breath. If it snows, the tuck rule gods will be with the pretty boy in the Uggs.

Anyone who think the Broncos cant win this game, or have no chance, is flat out foolish.

Re: Brutal NE Weather Could Cause Another Post Season Disaster for Pats
Well whether it was the cold weather, good defense, or something else, Brady did not perform very well in his last two playoff games against the Ravens at home and against the Jets at home last year. The Denver defense isn't an elite one, too inconsistent. but maybe with the weather and Brady and Bilichick's recent playoff failures, they can hold the Patriots down.
The New England team is somewhat one dimensional and if Brady's passing attack is not hitting on all cylinders then the Patriots defense and running game cannot be counted on to pick up the slack. The Patriots have one of the worst defenses in the league and the Broncos have a good running attack.

As much as I would like to see Brady go down, if he does go down, it won't be due to the weather. At least, it won't be due to him not putting the ball where it needs to be. If anything, the WRs/TEs, might have an issue with holding onto the ball. However, that would be a problem for the Broncos as well.

Brady will look poor in the first half and watch his team fall into a big hole 20-7. In the second half, he will throw 4 TDs and the Broncos will be stuffed. Final 35-20.

Re: Brutal NE Weather Could Cause Another Post Season Disaster for Pats
Wind is the main factor that affects the passing game and both teams have to play in it. I would expect the wind to have a much bigger impact on Tebow's 40-yard wobblers then it will on Brady's 8 yard tight spiral to a wide open, streaking WesAaRob Welknandekoswski
On the other hand the breeze might blow some of tebow's passes back on target, so there's always that.
