I thought the officiating in the Saints/49ers game was halfway decent. For the most part, they let the teams play. Although the delayed timeouts for New Orleans were a bit of a head scratcher.

Yeah, I saw Brees signal for the time out, but it wasn't called and the Saints' center hiked the ball and Brees threw an incomplete pass. I don't see how they could nullify that play and give them a do over. What if the Saints had gotten a 1st down on that play? Then what would've happened?
