Will this game even be close???

I see all the Raven fans writing that the Patriots and Brady are horrible against good defenses, the Patriots defense is last or second to last in defense in the league. Since the Ravens have the best defense in the league and Flacco should light up the worst defense in the league, I'm guessing this game won't even be close.

That's funny, because I see all the Patriot fans and media writing that the Patriots and Brady are terrific against anyone, the Ravens' defense is too old and slow and can't keep up with such a vaunted offense. Since the Patriots have the best quarterback in history and Flacco can't pass his way out of a paper bag, they're predicting the game won't even be close.

I guess there are two sides to every hyperbole.

Nah.... I'm still trying to figure out why the Ravens are even bothering to get on the plane today? The media & Patriots fans have already determined the outcome.

You all already won...Didn't you watch the news yesterday? The Ravens sent in their "forfeit" application yesterday afternoon and your New England Cheatalots already won the game! After all the news media around the nation has predicted a New England blow out, we just didn't want to go through the pain of the game and the loss! Congratulations NE Jackwagons

I realize you are a recent addition to the forum, so I guess you may be forgiven for generalizing, but would it be too much of an imposition to ask if you would cite, oh, maybe 2 or 3 hundred (an average number of 24x7 forum viewers on a busy day) links to where "all the Ravens fans" are writing the things of which you accuse them? The mods recently requested that we ignore trolls, and in the interest of fairness and the imperceptible possibility that you have such evidence of Ravens fans' mis-thinking, I'd be willing to give you an opportunity to keep this thread on an intellectually even keel.

Its easy to get drawn in to what the Patriots did to teams their last two games. If you combine the 2nd half of the Bills game with the Bronco's game, they've out-scored their opponents 84-10 in their last 6 quarters of football. That's pretty impressive no matter who the competition is. I think that is in the back of every Raven's fan's mind. Despite the confidence we may have in our team, that offense can be just plain scary.

No, no it won't. NE media and fans are the most knowledgable and unbiased experts in the US, no, the world, and their expertise has convinced me beyond doubt the score will be NE somewhere in the 40's to the Ravens in the teens.

And did you know, no Boston team has ever been beaten, they only lose games themselves; no team can beat them.

And did you know that Boston teams must have the most players because everyone here refers to them as us, we, and ours.

Brady with Gronkowski and Hernandez is approaching a God like status. Harbaugh, either one, and Belichek shouldn't be uttered in the same sentence.

Baltimore's D only has 2 guys, a Lewis and a Reed, and they're old.

NE starters are planning to only play mid-way through the 2ndQ, resting the 1sts for the SB.

Like I said on many threads, I expect a 3-4 point game. This was obviously tongue in cheek , if the majority of the posters seriously believe the Pats D is the worst or second worst D in the league then the Ravens should have their way with them. I know the Pats D are not world beaters, but are very opportunistic and pretty solid in the red zone.
