Lee Evans (multiple bitchin' discussions merged)

Please clean out your locker and don't let anyone in Baltimore see you on your way out...you just lost the game

Well that is about accurate. I think everyone knows we need a tall big red zone WR. Hopefully there will be a few in Free Agency.

    Re: Lee Evans

It looked like he got his 2 feet down before the ball was knocked loose. Should have been ruled a TD and then reviewed if necessary.

Still doesn't excuse him for not holding on for longer

Oh well man, in no other Job do you make that big a mistake, and get to say. Sorry man, he's got to go we have to upgrade around Joe.

Pack your bags and crawl back in to whatever hole you came out of Lee! You let some practice squad DB strip you like a bitch! Thanks for losing the game!

    Re: Lee Evans

This loss definately hurts. I'm going to remember Lee evan's drop more than Billy Cundiff's miss. And for what it's worth the play is not reviewable. The rule says the receiver must maintain possession thruought the entire catch.

With a SB on line.. you would think you would clutch that ball like it was your life...

I probably wanted a win from this game more than a Super Bowl....as crazy as that sounds. Patriot fans are pricks

Exactly. He was very lax on the way down. Almost like he started to celebrate to early.

Goog bye Lee - can you help Cam load those boxes into his van - I'm sure he can give you a ride to the airport

    Re: Lee Evans

I thought Evans took the play lightly. Like a Willie Mays bucket catch. Like hey look how easy I can catch a TD. With the game on the line he should have secured that ball as though his life depended on it. If he and Cam are back next year I'll want Ozzies head on a 50 foot stake. Oh the guy that missed the field goal... clear out his locker as well.

    Re: Lee Evans

While Evan's drop is inexcusable lets give some credit to the Patriots DB who had the presence of mind to reach in and knock that ball out. The irony of all this is that this was Lee evan's most productive game yet a game that will in infamy.

The only sure handed guys around Joe are Rice, Pitta, and Boldin... they need a tall, vertical threat.

    Thank you!

    An easy common sense call!

Once again the NFL's love and favoritism for the Pats shines through. Ala 2001.

Boldin dropped a pass today as well and has dropped several this season.

Pitta and Rice are the only sure handed players on offense.
When it comes to quarterbacks, don't pay attention to stats; pay attention to guys who make crucial plays at crucial times. -Gil Brandt
