Yeah, it is. Vernon Davis got six years and $42 million two years ago. And two years ago also Gates signed a five year deal worth $38 million.

Just for the record, Jimmy Graham, who may be the #2 tight end in the league, is still on his rookie deal, four years and $2.4 million. Think he is next in line now that Brees is done? I'd think so.

Daniel Graham just got released by the Titans, was due 2 million and was probably gonna be their 3rd TE. He's been a good blocker over his career, could be an option as a 3rd TE here if they feel it's necessary.
