Now that's weird. If they do that means they just flat out don't like Scott Wells. They certainly wouldn't be saving any money signing Myers.

Alright, Vincent Jackson is not likely to get the franchise tag. How many other notable WRs will join him in FA? Bowe is expected to get tagged. Johnson is trying to negotiate with Buffalo. New Orleans might be in a pickle with Colston.

According to profootballtalk.com it's because the packers and Wells are far apart in contract negotiations hence the reason for their pursuit of Myers who is only a few months younger than Wells.

Yea, I just saw that. I'm sure he'll probably be on the short list for St. Louis. He really did well in that wide-9 technique, but once Fisher and Jim Washburn left he just seemed out of place.
