Good point. A few pages back someone made the comparison to when the Ravens revamped the defense. While I see some similarities between what they did then to what they are trying to do now on the offense, the one glaring difference is the coaching. I am convinced you could bring in Jerry Rice in his prime and it wouldn't make a difference in this scheme.

I suggest you talk to Aaron Wilson and Tony Lombardi and they will tell you how Rice wants more than Arian Foster.

You're right and the Ravens would have signed him by now if he wants the exact same contract
as Arian Foster. He wants much more than Foster (ask Tony) right now.

and that is the point I was trying to make.

None of the QBs mentioned came out of the box throwing forty and fifty times a game, with much more success than Flacco. They all had to persevere through that process and get quality WRs/TEs.

Oh, and uh, I haven't heard any updates on Flacco's deal.
