Christian was a target early on, view him as a ST player right away ....

DeCosta: had to get creative early in the draft since players they targeted got picked up ....

Coy when asked about bringing in Painter. Painter was the best fit. Wont say if they will carry 3 QB's or not.

John beck got dropped from DC.
He knows our system and has worked with Cam.
Might be worth a look for a 3rd qb

This just goes to show you that you have to follow through and win a superbowl, when you beat out the Steelers. If not, you're drafting behind them for three days.

Speaking of small schools, radio said today that Piss, NE and Ravens rated
Gradkowski as the best Center in the draft. Looks like Joe put Delaware
    on the map.
    Pic of a natural act.

When asked about Tommy Streeter, they said he was the BPA in the 6th round, but both Ozzie and Erik looked slightly puzzled that they where asking whether they expected him to go in a lower round. Erik even said there where other WR's they where looking at. Still pretty happy we managed to get him, it's going to take him a while to adjust to the NFL, and it was a risk pick, but he has all the tools size and athleticism to succeed.

They did have a good draft. They took a chance on Adams though. He has had allot of character issues in college.

I'll take the draft the Ravens had. Upshaw, Osemele, and Pierce are all solid picks that should contribute right away.

Winning the SB would have been nice but...Either way you're drafting behind them for three days.

Was typing it as I heard it. I'm sure the team posted it on their web site.

I'd rather beat the Steelers and not win the Super Bowl than not beat the Steelers and not win the Super Bowl. Just to look on the bright side

Interesting how Ozzie said this was the 1st time they had to go beyond their top 100 players and into their top 150. In a weaker draft it sounds like many more teams come to the same conclusions about the available players.

And after college. One of the things that worried me about Adams was that he was caught smoking weed multiple times at OSU, then was busted again at the combine AND lied about it. ESPN made a big deal about his letter to the 32 teams saying he was going to straighten out, but seems like a desperation move to me. I guess we'll see.

I agree. It also seemed like the whole crew was a little bummed about it. I just didn't get the vibe that they were excited about this class.

Adams was one of the top high school players going into college. He never lived up to his potential at OSU. He has always been athletic and had the ability. He will more than likely be an under achiever in the pros.

Hope so. It would not be good for us if the Steelers now have a very young and talented O-line.

This isn't necessarily true. He dominated the big ten in 2010 (first team all big ten) and did great in the 7 games he played in 2011 (2nd team all big ten). Was hurt his frosh season and missed game due to injury in 2009 as well.

    Steelers got a steal.
