There are none. The media is twisting it into that. Which Harb's should known would happen.

They have jumped all over the Saints but where was that reaction when the Patriots were caught cheating, which did aid in winning???
Do you think knowing all their opponents' line and play calls at the line of scrmmage, ahead of time didn't help them???
How do you think a bunch of old veterans and wideouts playing corner were able to stop the Colts offense that no one else could stop???? Because Peyton gets up there and changes the play...but the Pats knew the change of the calls.
If you knew the play every time before the snap, how does that change the success of your defense???
Anyone who has played defense at any level knows what that would mean.

I personally dont really care. what he said was true and blown out of proportion by the media, as it always is. The only problem i would have is if its a distraction to the team, which something this minute probably wont carry into the season, maybe around the time we play them its brought back up. I can understand not wanting your coach to say these things but wanting him to still be open to the media. The problem here is the media, not Harbs or what he said. Until the media isnt a glorified gossip mag its going to be hard to have the best of both worlds.

Not addressing anyone specifically here, but come on...THIS IS WHAT THE MEDIA DOES. The media has been doing this for decades.

That's why people have to be coached in media relations...just "saying what's on your mind" or "speaking the truth" is NOT always the right thing to do when you are basically getting baited.

I just don't see the point of walking on eggshells because things will be twisted around. I don't have a problem with what he said or even that he said it.

I agree. IF the Patriots don't like what he said, they shouldn't have done it.
And the fact that the "evidence" was burned, makes it all that much worse.
If there was nothing to hide, then why was it burned?

Let the media bring it all back up.

On top of being an idiot for saying that...you have to remember that the ravens organization and the pats organization have a great relationship. You dont want to strain that. Pats have been a great trade partner on draft day over the years. Harbaugh knows better.

I don't think he was claiming that those teams didn't earn those championships. I think he was speaking more to the fact those scandals will always rain a dark cloud over that achievement. We all know that its true. You can't mention that Belichick has 3 rings without someone bringing up spygate. Even the Steelers during the 70's and the roid era. How many times has a Steelers fan touted their 6 rings and you shot back with smart ass comment about the roid use that was prevalent in that locker room? I know I have.

This. It was pretty obvious that he was talking about public perception in the initial quote. Anyone with half a brain could see that. Unfortunately Teddy Bruschi and ESPN combined are a full brain short of half a brain.

When he made his comment he didn't say that HE felt like that, he was saying that that's the general perception that people have of those teams.

I just don't see what's wrong with what he said. The media wants to twist things then fuck em, let them. It's not going to put a win or loss on our record. It's not going to get the team a fine, or disciplinary action, so why care?

If this is the worst thing Harbaugh is done I'm fine with it. He simply stated that the NFL's discipline on programs that have broken the rules has negatively contributed to the credibility of their championships and their overall reputations.

I don't get it. All the talking heads have said way more about the NE & Saints situations then Harbs did. More media bullshit hype. BTW, I just heard on channel 11 news that Harbs has freached out to Bellichick to explain his comments (that were taken out of context).
