Its really not a big deal and he didnt state anything that isnt true, its simply not worth talking about other franchises because the media will blow it up into something else. I really have no problem with what he said personally, its just the possible backlash that could follow it by taking it out of context.

What a jerk thing to say. Harbs wouldnt even be a HC if it wasnt for belichecks ringing endorsement to bisciotti. Sorry...he comes of as pretty petty on this one. They werent even talking about the pats...he didnt need to go there.

Get a grip people - he didn't accuse Bellichick of cheating, or say anything that wasn't true. He said the championships would be tainted because of the scandal. He's 100% right.

ESPN had an article about this too. It's pretty bad that when you make an off-color remark to a local radio station, it gets blown into a national story. He probably wouldn't have said that if he was actually being interviewed by ESPN. But it's not like we're the Giants or the Cowboys. If we were, we would never hear the end of it. This will probably be forgotten in a week, and possibly brought up by the news outlets when we play the Patriots again.

Whatever, if they didn't want to be insulted like that, they shouldn't have cheated.

A much as you talk about blowing it out of proportion, whose doing that right now? Nothing he said was an accusation. He is simply voicing what a lot of people already say. it's not even close to a big deal.

Typical over-reaction by fans. He said nothing wrong. Alien posted what he said and we still have people over-reacting.

Do you think the top coaches in the league would've said it? Would Coughlin say that? Leave the complaining to talking heads. He comes off as an amateur and there is nothing to be gained.

How does he come off as an amateur? He was asked a question and he responded with an answer with an example. in fact he couldn't have given a better one. He's just saying he would never risk messing with the teams image because it always leads to questions later

Because they asked him about the Saints and he starts saying Patriots titles are tainted. They didn't ask him about the Patriots. Why bring them up if not for sour grapes. It's not what the respected coaches would do, they'd take the high road. It's more something Rex would say.

The reason some dont like it, is for the very reason youre seeing. Now theres an article on ESPN, and its being asked to former players like Bruschi. Its becoming a media topic, which is never good. Nothing he said is bad or in accurate, its just certain things you know the media is going to twist and run with, and this was one of those things that could have been easily avoided.

Again...some of you are asking if what he said was wrong...it's not about that. It's about saying things like that publicly. It serves zero purpose.

Most of the things TO said were true as well. He just was an idiot for saying them publicly.

My reference was to the perception out there that came as the result of the league's actions

I'm not seeing where the sour srapes are, he was asked a question about the Saints bounty issue and compared it too what happened in NE and the following perception about their titles.

Then when he says something, everyone has to complain about that.

I guess all the coaches and all the players should never answer any more questions from the media or say anything for that matter.

They have jumped all over the Saints but where was that reaction when the Patriots were caught cheating, which did aid in winning???
Do you think knowing all their opponents' line and play calls at the line of scrmmage, ahead of time didn't help them???
How do you think a bunch of old veterans and wideouts playing corner were able to stop the Colts offense that no one else could stop???? Because Peyton gets up there and changes the play...but the Pats knew the change of the calls.
If you knew the play every time before the snap, how does that change the success of your defense???
Anyone who has played defense at any level knows what that would mean.
