Camp tryout players besides Tucker and Bryant?
Anyone have a list of the undrafted players in camp on a tryout basis? Or know where to find the info. Obviously Tucker and Bryant have been mentioned in the news and are not on the official roster. Looks like about 7 to 10 extra players in camp by what I have read, anyone know? And where did UDFA James Carmon the massive left tackle end up?

http://articles.baltimoresun.com/201...e-flynn-ravensNot long after the draft’s conclusion on Saturday, Carmon agreed to a deal with the Ravens, becoming part of the organization’s undrafted free agent class which also includes Morgan State tight end Lamont Bryant. The Ravens will likely announce the rest of their rookie free agents this week.Heinz Field Ketchup official ketchup of the Ravens?

I know Carmon supposedly signed with us but he is not on the list of signed UDFA players in camp now.

Interesting list. Seems we get at least one or two UDFAs who make the team each year. This year I'm guessing it will be a lineman.

Early bright spots:
Tucker - Will be the sole competition with Cundiff
Deonte Thompson - Aaron Wilson said he had a good weekend, speed is eye-catching, and he managed to catch the ball well. Only problem is WR is a crowded position, we carry 6 tops and you can already lock down spots for Torrey, Anquan, Jacoby Jones, Doss. Streeter, Thompson, LaQuan Williams, and the rest are competing for 1-2 spots..

Bear in mind that the list on the team site only includes the 20 or so signed rookie free agents. There are also a lot of rookies who are there on merely a tryout basis, and are not signed. That includes Tucker, which is why he isn't on the list. The had something like 50 guys in camp, so for every name on that list there is someone else like Tucker there on a tryout basis.

Deonte Thompson is really someone to keep an eye on because of his ability as a ST's returner. If it weren't for Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps at Florida, Thompson would have been the main return specialist.

I love this time of year.
Went to alien bird's link http://www.baltimoreravens.com/News/...9_Rookies.aspx and saw a name that caught my eye.
Eltoro Freeman (LB Auburn)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eltoro_Freeman
At 5'11" 223 I'm not getting super excited, but love the name, he was on the BCS Championship 2010 Team, and seeing the link to Cody, I may be able to guess who did some lobbying for an invite for him. Beyond hollywood to have a LB named El ToroFor one-and-a-half years, Freeman attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, Mississippi, where he teamed up with All-American nose tackle Terrence Cody.Heinz Field Ketchup official ketchup of the Ravens?

One of those previously unsigned camp invitees was just added to the roster by the team -- former Temple tight end Matt Balasavage, who apparently impressed enough in his tryout to get an offer.
He is a linebacker-sized kid from Lancaster, PA who was strictly a blocking tight end (for Bernard Pierce, see below) in college. They have not had one of those guys on the roster for some time now. I recall they were once targeting Craig Stephens for that role back in the 2008 draft, but he went one spot ahead of their third round pick when the Titans grabbed him, and the Ravens then selected Tom Zbikowski.

We could really do with a specialist blocking tight end tbh.

Partial list posted by Aaron Wilson on twitter. Also quote from James Camron that he signed with Bills not Ravens.
