Last year they were 19th in carries. This is not the pound the ball team they were when Bettis was there. Plus Medenhall is coming off a torn ACL very late in the season. I didn't see them sign add another starting RB. They're going to continue to pass the ball because that's where the offensive talent is on the team.

Maybe but I don't expect to much out of him this year. He's 32 coming off an injury. IMHO any production out of him would be a pleasant surprise. Ngata, Cody, Mcphee and Jones will be the top 4 on the depth chart with Maake on the outside looking in.

You think he makes the team? I'm not sure. I see it as 50/50 at this point.

If he was tired last year, wait till he has to play without Redding or McKinney in the mix.

I don't see him making the team at all, just veteran TC fodder. I can see one of two UDFAs (a) I. Kitchen (6' 3" 335 lbs Kent State) or (b) Jean-Babtiste (6' 2" 335 lbs Baylor) taking McKinney's back-up spot... Bc

Maybe wishful thinking on my part--but they signed him, so why not hope?

I like our competition in camp at LB, RB, WR, DB, OL, but I am worried about our competition on the DL...i would like to see them add a vet if they need to.

Isac Redman ran for like 130 yards on a tough Broncos defense in the wild card game. I think Redman is good enough to be a featured back until Mendy gets back, then they could use Mendy as a 3rd down type back. Redman is probably just as good as Michael Bush.

If they didn't think he at least had a shot they wouldn't have signed him. It reminds me of the James Hardy signing last year. These are talented guys who have had serious injuries. You hope they can overcome but it's tough to know if they will.
