Sunday late games to get later

The kickoff time for Sunday late afternoon doubleheader games on CBS and FOX will be moved from 4:15 PM ET to 4:25 PM ET, the NFL announced today.
With December sunsets predicted at 4:43 PM, we can now look forward to 18 minutes of daylight for the late doubleheader home games.

This will prevent early games being interrupted by the beginning of the late games.

    Okay, a few things-

#1. It's 10 whole minutes. It takes me longer in the morning to....well....you get the picture.

#2. It doesn't get dark immediately when the sun sets. You still get at least 30 minutes of light afterwards. So you'll have about 50 - 60 minutes of light after kickoff.

if they were moving monday night games to 7:30 then id be more interested. I hate the west coast bias as an early riser on the east. I still think they should do an east and west monday night game like they do opening weekend. It was nice to see all of one game without being exhausted the next day and even having the option for another if i wanted.

I think T is complaining that it will be even colder at the end of games.

That's a good one! The 10 minutes extra temp drop really will be noticed!

Not complaining, just informing ..... It's now 25 minutes later than the 4 pm starts we used to see, and the games also last longer. Plus post-game tailgating.

Doesn't bother me: I work from home, and sleep in Mondays after late Sunday games.

Not a big deal. Maybe a few extra tailgaters will get to their seats on time or maybe Safe management can get a few more people through the lines.

What's wrong with that? I consume both in large quantities. Although it is curious that my wife always seems to have headaches on Sundays... Bc

Probably a good move if the weather is ok. I wonder how often we will miss the start of the Sunday Night game?

Honestly, I can never get to sleep after a night game anyway so I don't mind the 8:30 start time. Gives me time to get the kids to bed.

Probably gives the average fan watching from home a little bit of a mental and physical break between the early and late afternoon games anyway. That Red zone channel is awesome. If the ravens are not on at the moment that's where I'm at otherwise I'm just toggling back and forth. It's quite exhilirating when you're witness to a lot of close early afternoon games. The extra times just gives you an opportunity to unwind a little.
