It makes think back to when I posted the same thing back on the Sun board. In a week and a half he's turning 9 and despite all the jerseys, hats, blankets, jackets with Ravens logos he became a Lions fan. Time flies so make sure you enjoy the journey.

Yes, very true. Times flies. It doesn't feel all that long ago I took my son to his first Raven game...Bronco/Raven Wildcard playoff game in 2000. OH YEAH!
Now, he is tailgating with me and is getting married at the end of September!

Congrats! Best thing in the world. I have 3 kids that I love to death, but sadly they're getting older. Can't believe my youngest is 13 already.

    Congrats wicked.

My son was born very early on the Saturday before the Texans playoff game.

It's already been 5.5 months yet it seems like yesterday when I held him for the first time.

It's quite a thing to experience.

Congrats. Mine just celebrated his fourth birthday July 1st.

    Few things to remember.
-They do nothing for the first four months, but then they get fun.
-You're going to get hit, often. Prepare.
-They get sick. I'd tell you to relax but you're going to panic. It'll pass.
-They have small, bony fist. You're going to get hit, often. Prepare.
-Wave bye-bye to couple time. Say hello to grandparents.
-Nerf doesn't mean soft. You're going to get hit, often. Prepare.
This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

    Congrats Man!!!

Like many have posted, nothing like the birth of your first child. My first Raven's game back in 2003 (Ravens Rushing Record setting day) was while my wife was 5.5 months pregnant. Now my oldest is 8.5 and getting ready to go to 3rd grade, while my youngest is going to be starting kindergarten next year.

Enjoy the time when they are little. They grow up very fast and become serious handfuls.... Still worth every minute, mostly.

    Thanks guys.

And you all weren't kidding...I think I've had a combined 12 hours of sleep or so since Tuesday. The little guy loves to go into what I've begun to refer to as "Terror Mode" between 2 and 6 AM.

    Congrats to a great dad.

Did you name him Joe or Ray? Or how about Ray Joe....

A guy in our Nest named his daughter Raven. Now that's a
    real fan.

Haha, it's funny because my first name is Stephen (and Joe Flacco's kid is named Stephen/Steven and was born about two weeks before my son) and I was joking around with my wife that we would name our boy Joe.

We actually had already decided on Jack if it was a boy.

Congrats to You, Mrs. Solo and Jack Solo. Actually Jack Solo has a nice ring to it. Sounds like a future HOF linebacker.
