Re: Free Agent Thread
Interesting to see that Cedric Benson, and Ryan Grant are still on the market. If we really need a back up RB (if none of our RB's are up to the back up role) I'd rather role with Grant. He's had some health problems over the past two seasons, but he is more explosive and dynamic than Benson is at this point. Benson has a lot of wear and tear, and has some attitude problems. I would be good with both though, just think Ryan Grant would be a better option.

I wouldn't mind them bringing in either one for a look-see.

Re: Free Agent Thread
I like Ryan Grant a lot but it would be tough to go there. Pierce was taken relatively high. AA is someone they seem to like. There is even an undrafted free agent looking good. One of these guys should be good enough to earn that 2nd RB job. Bringing in a vet RB would feel like the front office did a poor job with the position.

A lot of trades going on this off-season...
Eagles send LB Moise Fokou (Maryland alum) and LB Greg Lloyd Jr to the Colts for cornerback Kevin Thomas and a conditional 2013 draft pick.

Scratch Todd Heap off the potential free agent list. He just gave back $1 million to stay with the Cardinals

Re: Free Agent Thread
There was a lot being made of Bryant and Edwards reliving their "glory days" in a Browns uniform, and Bryant certainly appeared to be saying and doing all the right things. He had talent, but this looks to be a sign that he's hit the end of the road. I'm glad we've reached the point where WR "has beens" or "never weres" no long appeal to us. Remember when Dennis Northcutt was a top FA target for us?
